  1. I use Evernote on an Android phone and a Windows 8.1 laptop. Primarily it's on my phone. When I do use it on my laptop, I am always frustrated because I try to use my expensive touch screen and it doesn't work. Today I decided to take some time to find out how to somehow enable touch. That's what opened up a whole can of worms. I see that there used to be an Evernote Touch but it was discontinued. I see that there is an Evernote app in the windows store now and the desktop version has been discontinued. Wait, I HAVE the desktop version and I just downloaded an update today. I am so confused. Please tell me that Evernote is sophisticated enough to be able to use it with a touchscreen on my laptop. Sincerely, Kimber
  2. In the Windows desktop version, when I touch the note panel, the default behavior is to select rather than to scroll, which is really annoying. It's clear that ink / touch support and 2 in 1 devices like Surface (I'm heavy Surface and Evernote user) will be the trend in later Win10 releases. I really hope Evernote team will add more touch support to its windows version, if you cannot add full ink function as that in Onenote immediately. For example, I wish that when I touch the note panel with my finger, the default behavior is to scroll while it will select text if I switch to my Surface Pen.
  3. Evernote's desktop app doesn't work very well with touch input. I propose the following changes: Evernote ought to use standard Windows scrollbars so that changes to scrollbar width made in Windows are inherited by Evernote. Failing that, an option to adjust scrollbar width would be nice. The contents of a note should be scrollable using touch input. A full-screen reading mode with touch scrolling would be super awesome.Thank you!
  4. Have been a devoted user of Evernote desktop while using Chrome for web browsing. My work replaced my laptop with a Surface Book and it seems that I am going to need to switch to One Note and Edge to make optimal use of the Surface's touch and pen tools. I don't want to! Any ideas for how to optimally integrate Evernote into my Surface workflow?
  5. Hi All, I cannot seem to find out how to auto update my Evernote Touch to the replacement Desktop version, now that I have completed the Windows 10 anniversary update. Would someone please let me know where I find the update settings? Thank you in advance. Nathan
  6. I recently put Evernote Touch on my Windows 10 work machine. Today I suddenly don't seem to be able to save a note? All I seem to get is a simple dialog box with Failed in the corner, a title of Failed, and a message that says Error occurred when saving the note. Not really sure if this is the first time I have saved with Touch or not. I have a premium subscription and use it a lot, have multiple machines, so hard to remember.
  7. On Windows Surface RT running windows 8.1 and latest Evernote Touch, I am seeing the following issues Initial Sync doesn't complete It crashes during the sync intermittently Is Windows Surface RT client not supported or this is a known issue?
  9. Hello everyone, I'm sorry this might not be the right forum, but I didn't know where else to post this.. After some trial and error I pinned down the problem I have with thumbnails not being displayed. So here is what I do: - Clip a website (doesn't matter if I choose "whole website" or just "article" via the Web Clipper in Firefox. I.e. this one: http://www.eliseeats.com/home/2015/1/25/chimichurri-pork-chops - Open Evernote Web Version: I see the article in the list view, next to it a grey document icon, but no thumbnail - Same in Evernote Touch for Windows 8.1 (there, the 'missing-image' icon is green) - Also no thumbnail and no 'missing image' icon on the Iphone app - Then, I open the Windows desktop version of Evernote and -tadaaa- I get a thumbnail This behavior seems to depend on the content I clip. It doesn't happen with all websites, but with lots. Hope you can fix this or tell me what I'm doing wrong. Cheers
  10. Hi all! We are working on a new product and would love your feedback on how to better integrate Evernote into it. Mural.ly lets you grab web content, organize it on a big canvas and share/collaborate with others (video showing it in www.Mural.ly). The end results are "Murals" of web content that help you share ideas visually: You can also create the Murals in groups, in real time. One of the "Web content" that we want to add are Evernotes, so we wanted to know how you'd use it! Cheers! Mariano Suarez Battan Mural.ly CEO
  11. Android 5.4 on nexus 7 (2). Screen doesn't seem to react to touch very well only in Ecernote app. I have to tap several times before the cursor moves. Getting the cursor to move to the bottom of a note is nearly impossible. Tapping seems to work OK in other apps, email, etc. Thoughts? Thanks!
