I use Evernote extensively for notekeeping and I'm really missing the feature to add an customizable Date/Timestamp. For example: when keeping notes about a meeting it would be very helpful to set an fixed date/timestamp to the note so it can be tracked backed in time much easier. Other example: sometimes you write a note about a meeting based on handwritten notes. The Creation date isn't much helpful because it's not related to the actual date/time of the subject, nor is the modified time. If you could add a seperate date/time stamp which represents the true date/time of the meeting you could thereby create a complete timeline. A whole month of work could then be so much easier to look back at. By appling filters the only thing remains are the notes about a specific subject or project in chronological sequence. How cool would that be Best regards, Sam
Hi Everyone, I've been using Evernote for some time now, but i'm pretty sure i'm only scratching its surface in terms of functionality. Recently, i've been craving some way to document my past. Yes, I could write a simple list in Word, but I wondered if there was any kind of purpose built plug-in/app/functionality for Evernote that would aid in creating some kind of lifeline in an attractive way - that I could build over time with important, or indeed not so important, life events. I've often struggled to recall when I bought my first car; when that trip to Egypt actually was; who I was dating in 1997..! It would be great if there was something out there purpose built (maybe even a template) that I can dip into and build up over time, as and when things come to me, but not a journal necessarily to start now, but one that I can build about my history. Evernote seems like the perfect platform for it. Is it out there? Thanks in advance! http://www.day3creations.co.uk
Hi, I am an avid Evernote user and find it great for not only managing work but also play, with it acting as a social management tool (similar to a business CRM). However it has its limitations at present, and i wanted to know whether Evernote would be able develop added functionality along the lines of: - Notes to be viewed in a visual timeline? - Notes to be viewed in calendar format? - Actions to be added to notes that can be viewed in a separate list for managing "to dos"? I personally would find these enhancements extremely useful and would like to know in this forum whether people agree or have other ideas that could assist in making the tool even better! bdh
