  1. V8 for IOS is nice, but a real backward move was requiring two clicks to insert bullets and another two to indent them. On iPad there's plenty of room to give direct access to these functions in the bottom bar. (But thanks for at last putting the Expand button in the top bar instead of the top of the note - great improvement). Thanks.
  2. I've been using code block formatting for quite a while. Yesterday, all of my code blocks were transformed into regularly formatted text. The button for code block formatting has also disappeared from the top bar in the text editor pane. I'm running Evernote in Windows 10. Please advise ASAP. Thanks.
  3. One of my primary frustrations for Evernote is that it doesn't look the same everywhere. I don't even have the same font choices between the web interface and the Mac interface. That's a bit bothersome by itself, but what makes it much worse is that I will select all the text in a note on my Mac and format it to the same font face and size, and then when I look at the same note on the web interface, different paragraphs are in different font faces/sizes! How frustrating. I'm constantly wasting time by reformatting between the two interfaces. Please fix this so they are consistent, thank you.
  4. It would be AWESOME if there could be a way to add some kind of Collapse or Expand the bulleted list or numbered list because it will ensure a better usage of the desktop.
  5. I'd like to be able to assign a keyboard shortcut to change the formatting (font, colour and size) of a piece of text. Currently, I am making notes on learning to code and use a lot of code snippets that I need to format differently to the rest of my text and it takes an age to always change the formatting. This could have plenty of other use cases that would make evernote a smoother application to work with
  6. When using underline, italics, and bold, they often will not toggle on and/or off. Neither clicking at the top of the edit field nor Cmd-B/I/U will work. When this happens, I am required to find a line where I did not have underline/bold/italics turned on, then copy and paste that piece where I am trying to type, and then try to remember not to backspace one letter too far. It has been this way since installation (many, many versions ago), and including the new 3.0.6. I do like the new edit field! Good work! Is this a known bug or unique to me?
  7. Hi All: Evernote on my MacBook Pro just automatically updated itself to v. 5.5.1...and now I can't format text anymore. Bolding, underlining, numbered and unnumbered lists are all broken. This is a deal-breaker for me, and I'd like to roll back my installation to the last version that worked. Does anyone know what version that might be, and where I can download an installer? Thanks! ~ Mike B.
  8. I am a developer, and have been trying evernote to hold various pieces of code. Recently I noticed that if I paste SQL queries from SQL Server Management Studio, they are slightly altered in evernote. For example, my query may have the following '[sOME_SERVER].A_Database.dbo.MyTable' which evernote produces as '[sOME_SERVER] .A_Database . dbo. MyTable' (note the spaces which have been added). I have not experienced this with any other program, as far as I know. If I paste the same text into another program like notepad or notepad++, I don't have this problem. Oddly, if I take the same text from my text editor, copy again, and paste to evernote, it does not add the spaces. I am not sure which program is causing this behavior but am curious as to whether this kind of reformatting has been documented in evernote before.
