Check out the video recently announced in the forums and posted here: A number of highly requested features are in the process of being implemented--not ready for release yet, as I understand it, but approaching beta. They include to-do lists with strikethrough, styles, text colors, highlight colors--a lot of the things that are already present in the beta Web editor. Plus better tag management and cross-platform consistency.
To whom it may concern: Following the recent situation① in Evernote tag system management process which I experienced, I recently started to took screenshots of my tag tree structure before I move a tag tree, the reason I did so is that if a tag tree collapse again during moving process, I can have a reference to depend on in order to rebuilt the tag tree. So, I hereby make the request to Evernote Corporation to provide a similar security measure for users who has the same concern①, it could be an export of the tag structure or something like that. Thank you in advance for your attention. Regards, Ben ① Tag Tree Fell Down 3 Times During Moving Between Parent Tag
(1) 20160504 | How to not select all sub tags beneath a tag? I have a lot of tags, nested in the way I like. However, to add a new tag to this mix is time consuming - requiring a lot of dragging and closing/opening tag hierarchies. There are many others in the same boat, but I have not seen this idea mentioned so I mention it here - apologies if I missed it and please move accordingly. IMHO, Evernote tag management could be significantly strengthened if the user was presented an option on right-click of any tag to move it - and then a subsequent clickable hierarchy was presented - exactly in the same manner that the 'move to notebook' operates with notes. This could be a feature for at least both Windows and Mac clients.
