Currently, I'm having an issue being able to delete text from my notes and I'm receiving the attached errors. I was going to submit a support ticket but I can't seem to do that either. (I'm not on Twitter so I couldn't submit anything there.)
Evernote 6.4.2 on Win7Pro. Question: Is it okay to delete C:\SWTOOLS\Evernote, or are the contents actually necessary? The Evernote website (https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=176617) has a problem that prevents me from "creating a ticket" to report a problem or make an inquiry. I go through the steps of dropdown menus, but no link to create a ticket appears at the end. Thus, I am posting to this forum. I installed Evernote on my PC, but Evernote created a setup folder at C:\SWTOOLS\Evernote and failed to delete this stuff after installation. The folder seems to only contain setup automation files, including EvernoteSetup.exe. I do not see any files that seem to be for the installed program itself. Also, I am not sure why I do not see a folder for Evernote in C:\Program Files nor C:\Program Files (x86). Where are the program files located? The program works normally.
My evernote on my Mac has some problems. It kept popping up a window like every 2 seconds and telling me that I can't save profile as "note.html" because my Mac doesn't have enough storage. But I have no idea where the document with "note.html" comes from. So I force quit my evernote. When I reopened it, All the notes are missing, but they are on the web version. After I sync, it just syncs the note I am working with at that moment, but cannot recover all the notes in the application. Is there a way to recover? Otherwise I have to use the web version to read my previous notes every time. And I try to report the problem. But where can I create a new support ticket???!!! When I click the link, it just keeps go back to the overall support page. It is annoyed! Please Help. Thanks!
Hello and... Help! Problems since recent update, continually force closes, can't send support ticket! Inexperienced with this and couldn't find any other way to ask for help, so pls excuse me if this isn't right place for this. But if someone can direct me to the appropriate alternative to the in-app "support ticket" option which doesn't permit me to draft such a support ticket, I'd very much appreciate any help. Thx!
