  2. Hi! I'm having some issues with my credit card, which means Evernote is about to downgrade my subscription from Premium to Basic. I'd like to go back to it as soon as I fix things with the bank, but the question for now is (as in the topic): - Do I lose any data when downgrading subscription? Or just things like upload limit, search options etc.? - If I do, how can I back it up before downgrade? As for now, I exported all notes to html and copied whole database from C:\Users\[PC Name]\Evernote\Databases. Is it enough? I know it may sound a bit paranoid, but I'm very attached to my notes, thanks for any help!
  3. I have a Premium account that I've just renewed . I was a premium customer but let it lapse for a couple of months after it ran out. I have just renewed and what I would like to know is will the renewal be on my basic account?The reason I ask is it said PREMIUM on my other premium accounts but not on this one, is it a change does anyone know? also where do I find please the email address I use for forwarding to my notes. TIA
  4. It's incorrect saying that I have it on more than 2 devices. I think it's because I recently had to reinstall Windows twice. But, I don't even think that I reinstalled Evernote on the first reinstall of Windows so I am surprised. Once I open the desktop software, Evernote does not let me do anything-- only option is to upgrade my subscription plan.
  5. Can someone please tell me how to cancel auto renewal on my subscription? I've been in contact with support regarding another issue and he said to cancel auto renewal on my account but won't tell me how or where to go to do this. I don't want to deactivate the account, just make it so they won't charge me again without them asking me first.
  6. I want to turn of auto-renewal payment but I don't want to lose the time I have paid for. This is not very good for the customer. Evernote has made it very difficult for customers to do this simple step without feeling like they lose their account.

  8. I've upgraded to evernote plus. My current (monthly) cycle is 11 May to 11 June 2018. I want to stop Evernote from billing me next month onwards (the next cycle starting 11 June), if I select to downgrade to 'basic' right now (11 May) will I keep my subscription til 11 June? I just don't want to be charged a second time, and I want to keep this month's subscription that I have already paid for.
  9. I bought Plus through Itunes, it said the purchase was successful, but my account doesn't seem any different and in account info it still shows it as the basic package. I tried once again to buy it but it says it's already purchased. So, what now? It also shows in my itunes subscriptions that I am subscribed to Plus by the way. Edit: Whelp, it's all good now. I guess I just had to update Evernote. Idk how to delete posts

  11. I have a request for a new payment subscription model. I am almost satisfied with the basic subscription model, that is for free, but would like to add some single features that are available in plus or premium. It is though not important enough, that I would buy the premium or plus subscription. My idea is to add a new payment model, that is feature based. Every user has the basic model with its features for free and is able to unlock single specific features for a small amount of money per month that he wants to use. For example, I would be able to use the basic model and add the email-feature for maybe 0,25€ per month. Also I would be able to buy 50 extra-MB of upload allowance because the 60 MB standard amount is just not enough for me, but 1 GB is way more than I need. For that I'd pay another 0,25€ per month. And now I would like to remove the ads in my evernote client for which I'd add another 0,25€ per month to my bill. Also I would like to annotate PDFs for another 0,25€ per month. This way, the users can pay for those features they want and do not need to pay for such, that they don't use. You could even add the possibility to add devices for maybe 0,10€ per month. Of course this makes the payment model more complicated, but I think its not too hard to implement it into the existing structure. You could keep the current three subscription models and make it possible for users to add single features to the model they use anyways. If this would be possible, I would at least pay a small amount to evernote per month for those features I want. Otherwise I will simply renounce those features. Regards, mrbenjoi

Depending on how you signed up for your Premium or Plus subscription, you might take different steps to cancel the auto-renewal. To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, be sure to cancel before the renewal takes place. Under the terms of our Refund Policy, subscriptions are non-refundable, and no prorated refunds or credits are offered for partially used subscriptions. We do understand there may be circumstances which require further investigation. In those cases, please open a support request and provide as much detail about the circumstance as possible. We cannot discuss private account and payment information on the forum.   13. Hi, I recently renewed my premium prescription through iTunes but it is not working. I see that the $44.99 transaction has gone through on my bank statement but I am not able to use any of the premium features. Please help me out. Thanks
  14. After 2 or more years of using the paid version of this app, I cancelled my subscription. Why? Because the app causes errors across my devices, I load to capture a document that I need for my business, the first shot sometimes works... But by the second shot.... My phone is in boot loader, repeat boot loader, the phone could have 100% battery and still not restart, if you have less than 50% battery then you dare not use the app as it my phone needs a PC connection to be restored/ restarted. So is it your device? NO... My poor phone has undergone testing and flashing on numerous occasions, I swapped to iphone... same problem, iPad... Same problem, LG latest phone... Same problem, latest Microsoft... Same problem, brand new tablet with only Evernote installed... Same problem. This app has something seriously wrong with the code, I am very disappointed that the time has come to purge Evernote from all my systems, recall all devices within the business, flash them and find an alternative for our business needs. Since I ended my subscription I find that Evernote does not offer Support to FREE customers, they didn't pay attention to any of my correspondence while I was a member and this is a shame. 2 Years ago I was immensely satisfied with all its great features, which I'm going to miss... But like the rest of the world, I need my devices and apps working correctly. If someone can suggest an alternative vendor that has customer support, I am looking to be able to scan a document and view it across the business, possibly something compatible with Dropbox. Thanks
  15. Hey Evernote peeps! Just received an email with the above subject, however looking back through my emails I never received one that alerted me that I had access to premium. This is too bad, as I would otherwise have tried them out to see if I should upgrade from the free version. Anyone else get the same thing? Since there doesn't seem to be an appropriate way of letting the team know, I'll write it here. Seems like a missed opportunity marketing-wise.
  16. I have two accounts (the second one created whilst travelling), one premium and one basic, but am about to lose the email address associated with the premium account. I need to consolidate my accounts into the (currently) basic account but don't want to lose the remaining premium subscription (I know, cheap charlie here!). Is there any way I can do this?
  17. Hello Evernote Community! I am about to leave for a trip that will take around 10 years, maybe a little more. I will be completely away from both civilization, and an internet connection. I very much want to have an easy way to collect my research, thoughts, writings, and everyday notes in one place during my trip. I have seen colleague's using Evernote, and entered information into their Evernote notebooks for them during experiments and meetings, and I very much enjoyed the UI and the different features. Here now we get to my problem: Since I will be away from civilization, and the internet, for 10 years, I am unsure how to go about using Evernote. I have noticed some limitations, when already attempting to utilize the Evernote software while offline. First, I could not find a way to get it to work while offline and with no way to verify my online account. This is going to be a problem. Since I had no account configuration file yet, and had no internet access, I could not use the software. This is a problem, because during my 10 years away from civilization and the internet, I will almost guaranteed have to re-install windows at least a dozen times, and if I end up losing the configuration files with my account information, I need to be sure that I can still use the software after a fresh install (from USB drive). Next, I can only find a way to pay for a single year of premium. So, how can I pay for 10 years of the premium subscription now? Also, when the single year ends, how do I convince the software, without an internet connection, that I have paid for 10 years? Will I be able to get 10 product codes? Or is there some other way to re-enable the software before then? Finally, is it possible to sync using bluetooth between an android based device and a windows 10 surface based device while completely offline? It will be nice to be able to leave the surface in one place, and use an android watch or android glasses to check, add, or update information in my notes. Thanks in advance for any advice or suggestions! If this will not work, I will hate to have to spend the next few days trying out other software. I leave for my trip on Friday, and will not be able to respond after Thursday mid-day.
  18. I was copying some notes out of a Shared notebook I belonged to, saw a "getting close to monthly quota message and clicked on. Of course it advised my to upgrade to Premium, which I can't do at the moment, but clicked in it anyone just to see if the price had changed. Sure enough, it is now $59.00USD. Again with the zero notice. Would an announcent on the EN blog have been that hard?
  19. I only use Evernote occasionally and the Free/Basic version is what works best for me. For the past few weeks everytime I open Evernote I get the following error message: " Your subscription has expired. Renew now to keep enjoying great features likes offline notebooks and larger uploads. Renew now. " I click on the renew now link and it bring up a sign up/version selector that doesn't allow me to select the Free/Basic version. Is Evernote doing away with the freebie/basic version or is this some glitch? Thanks!
  20. Hi, I have purchased a 1-year subscription through google play store on my android device but few hours later it still shows me as a free member. Have send a ticket (Ticket #16051-271054) with log as well as a screenshot of the google play store receipt but still no response. Very disappointed!!

  22. Hi! After updating to Yosemite i found, that i don't receive any notifications about due reminders. As i remember, before i had a notification marked on the satellite icon and in the system notifications list. I tried to use the advice from the knowledge base (subscribe to a notebook), but i can't do that! I find no options to subscribe to a notebook. I enter "subscription options" submenu but the only thing i can do there is putting a tick near the option " notify via e-mail", but the list of the subscribed notebooks is still uneditible for me.   23. I am a Canadian user of Premium for a year. It is now time to renew my subscription: $59.99 (I was also frustrated about the unannounced increase !) I also own a free account where Evernote offers me a yearly subscription at $24.99 a year. Nothing is said about introductory price or anything like that. Are there 2 prices, or is it a 2nd account price... or is it just a strategy to get new clients ?

Hi, I paid for a subscription through the App store on my mac (after clicking on "Go premium"), and I can find it when I look through my subscriptions, but under preferences in Evernote it still says I am a free user... The appleID I have is a different email address than the one I use for Evernote. Please help! - Fredrik

Hi, I have purchased a 1 month subscription through google on my android device. but after 48 hours. it still shows me as a free member. also I've a send ticket # 836900 expecting branch in my country(South Korea) can handle this. But they're not responding yet. I hope someday....(I've waited enough.).. anyone of evernote team can help me. Thank you. (I'm just wondering.. If I didn't send ticket, then I can never get premium upgrade? Plus, I see it as a difference of culture between Korea and any other country but, I must say, Every company has a phone number of Its customer service center or something like that in south Korea. Except, evernote Korea branch. Don't you think it's little bit strange? I mean, of course there can be some glitch interfacing google and evernote. but, generally, a user doesn't cause that problem.-like me, i'm just trying to purchase- and, a user had to send a ticket spending precious time, even explaining what did i did to solve the problem - that's part of ticket process -, waiting for a response, googling if some other people have same issue like me, even posting in a forum. why does user of evernote have to do all this? instead of a simple phone call? Korea branch have no phone? or there's no one in that office capable of speaking Korean? Once Again, I never have spent this much time and effort for the.. at least 30+ years just to buy one. I didn't know being a (premium) user of evernote is that hard.)
