  1. Hi Evernote, Can you give any insight on the Evernote text engine? I've heard that it was different on each platform, and not from a unified Latex or other standardized text engine. When I try to add chemical formula names like C3H8O I notice that Mac App Evernote doesn't always handle subscripts all that well. Usually it works, but sometimes I have to fight the app. Even the block of text between these two chemicals is acting weird with their formatting. Copy/paste these these two propanols and try to delete the blank space to see if you have the same issue. C3H8O C3H8O Any insights? Any hope of an easy fix? I use PopClip and TextSoap a lot! thanks, Stephen
  2. Hello everybody. I need to use Superscript and Subscript a lot, and whilst there is a Mac shortcut for those 2 actions, we Windows users are left only with the use of the mouse/trackpad, which is very annoying. Could your engineers solve this minor yet fastidious issue? I promise I go premium if you do! Thanks in advance. Alex Martini
  3. I recently began using Evernote for windows since I purchased a new laptop. I quickly noticed that you cannot format the text by inserting a superscript or a subscript. Although I know you can paste it in from a program like Microsoft word, it is a hassle while I am in the middle of taking notes and it drastically slows me down. I understand that Evernote cannot simply worry about implementing things that only a few users complain about, but I think that it is a little crazy that Evernote web has this ability to insert superscripts and subscripts but the windows client doesn't. Desktop programs should have all of the features of a thin client plus many more. If Evernote could make this addition in the next update it would be much appreciated. I couldn't imagine it would take any serious coding to give us this ability. Thank you.
  4. I've been having a problem with the new superscript/subscript shortcut keys. I can apply superscripts and subscripts through the format menu (format > style > superscript or subscript) but when I try to use the shortcut listed next to these options, nothing happens. I love that this has been updated into Evernote for Mac as I have been needing it for taking notes in math classes, but I do need the ease of using shortcuts for quick note taking. I like how on the web app, the superscript and subscript style options are featured at the top next to the bold, italic, and underline options. Can we have this function in the same place on the Mac version? Is anyone else having these problems? Thanks in advance.
  5. I would love to see the subscript and superscript format option to be added into the mac desktop version for Evernote. I have yet to see this added and beause of this I am limited to using the web version when wanting to take notes for classes.
