  1. Hi all, I've downloaded the latest Evernote binary and during installation the process got stuck (repeatedly) on 0%. Checking the MSI logs I see the following lines MSI (s) (4C:64) [16:20:24:963]: Setting cached product context: machine assigned for product: F889F8218029FEE4FB965499A23CA10C MSI (s) (4C:64) [16:20:24:963]: Using cached product context: machine assigned for product: F889F8218029FEE4FB965499A23CA10C MSI (s) (4C:64) [16:20:24:963]: Setting cached product context: machine assigned for product: FB84B8ED9B28A4342B45E12A03E6F5AB MSI (s) (4C:64) [16:20:24:963]: Using cached product context: machine assigned for product: FB84B8ED9B28A4342B45E12A03E6F5AB MSI (s) (4C:64) [16:20:24:963]: Setting cached product context: machine assigned for product: FBD281CC76CF97F49903A662286EB0DD MSI (s) (4C:64) [16:20:24:963]: Using cached product context: machine assigned for product: FBD281CC76CF97F49903A662286EB0DD yet I've waited 20 minutes past that very last entry. It's possible that I've uninstalled way back when Evernote (Googling hints that there is an issue with re-installing Evernote) What can I do to make it work?? Thanks, Boaz
  2. Hi, Wondered if anybody has a solution to this. On evernote on iPad, if I choose tags from the main menu, search for a tag and choose it, I can't ever get out of the tags view. If I scroll right up to the top, it seems to miss off the top section of the menu (where 'back' and 'edit' normally live, leaving me with no way out. You can see from the attached photo there's nothing above the search box. The only way to get it to work is to delete the app and reinstall. I don't have this problem on my iPhone. Any ideas appreciated as it renders the thing unusable for me. Cheers, A
  3. Hey guys. Evernote's web clipper works almost all the time for me (thank goodness), but today I witnessed a rather nasty hang-up with it. When trying to clip a selection from Wikia, the Clipper got stuck synchronizing. A second attempt was just as fruitless. To make sure I wasn't making a personal mistake, I uninstalled and re-added the extension from the Chrome Web Store, with the same result. What do? I've seen this error before, but usually just re-trying fixes it.
  4. The last two times I updated Evernote, I ended up with files that would not delete from the trash on the MacOS. I would get this error - "The operation can’t be completed because an unexpected error occurred (error code -8003)." I googled and tried various suggestions to delete stuck files. Closing applications didn't work. Restarting didn't work. Terminal commands didn't work. FINALLY, I got it using Trash It. http://www.macupdate...c/8214/trash-it Why was this happening? Is this what I have to look forward to with future updates? Evernote team - can you fix this bug in future versions?
  5. I went to a note that I had clipped from the web and touched on a link in it and it went to that web page within Evernote. When I try to touch the "Done" button in the top left corner nothing happens so I'm stuck on that page. If I close Evernote and open it back up, it still comes up to the same page and I can't click "Done". I tried powering down my iPhone and restarting it and then going into Evernote and the same thing happened. I'm stuck so I can't use Evernote at all now on my iPhone. Is there anything I can do? If I uninstall the program and re-install it will I be able to get all of my notes back I presume? Melanie
