For example, currently clipping a list like item 1 item 2 item 3 from item 2, would save a note like item 2 item 3 But it would be nice if the clipper could instead save item 2 item 3 Where the first item starts with number 2. This can be achieved with the start attribute on the ordered list (ol) element. (Worth bearing in mind there are probably lists on the web, where the start attribute is already set, and the list starts at item 1290...)
There is need for a quick-start note-taking utility. If I recall correctly, Evernote *used to be* just that: starting up lightning fast as an open blank slate, ready for note-taking. Now, of course, with many options and features, Evernote opens more slowly to reveal a vast array of folders, navigation, and other options. What I'd like to see is, a quick, lightning fast, blank slate, for typing a note on the fly. Let it be set-and-forget, with userid/password and default Evernote notebook, and *that's it*! Let it open as quickly as, for example, Notes or Stickies on MacOSX. Evernote might also look into the "QuickEver" app published for iPads, which does a thing very similar to this request. Just simple and *very* quick. No heavy word-processing/formatting involved! A blank slate. And for *typists*, not touch-drawers such as Penultimate users. Okay?
I wonder if there is a possibility to start Evernote discretely or in a private modus on Windows. So that it opens without showing a note yet. Sometimes I've opened my pc on a big screen with others in a meeting and I want to look for something I posted in Evernote. So I have to start Evernote, but I don't want others to see notes that I've taken in other sessions because of the privacy aspect. Thanks for any help.
