  1. Things like "Years" 'Dates" "Months" (dates as whole dates and also as individual components by themselves) should all be treated as smart tags automatically. Instead of requiring me to make a tag before I can send to it in email, please let me just add any year or date or month or day of week automatically to any note and send in via email so that i can be organized on a whim. this would 1) make our tag lists more condensed and organized (Would create more screen real estate on phones and desktop as if i have a list of 10 different years that i tag notes with then it makes a list) 2) make inputting of notes easier and more streamlined Note: i find that yes, i can technically search by date in the apps some how - at least on desktop i know i can, but the date the note was created is not always the date that i'm tagging something with and searching by date is not visually infront of us, and only needs to appear as a tag option if we happend to lable stuff as it. You can put it all under a single smart tag group called "calendar" for notes deliberately tagged with certain dates days of week, months or years.
  2. Over the last few years I have used several different Moleskine Evernote notebooks. As my jobs changes within my company I found I wanted my Moleskine stickers to mean something else. so what happens when I change them? What happens to past notes with that sticker — nothing? does it even matter if, when, or how often I change the sticker meanings? And do those meanings sync across all of my platforms?
  3. I am a everyday user of EN. I have several note to archive and support my family lifestyle. I also use a Moleskine Evernote Smart Notebook for my job. So EN's ability to use different online notebooks, tags, etc, are perfect for how I use it. The post is to highlight two of my most important feature requests. 1. If I can search for my handwritten notes, I want to be able to copy and paste the text elsewhere. I understand that it wouldn't be perfect OCR all of the time, but this is the biggest 'missing piece' for me in Evernote. I keep so many Moleskine captured pages that not being able to copy the information is turning me away from spending the time and effort to capture it in the first place. 2. The ability to edit and tag Moleskine Notebook captures. When using the widget, or the quick launch for taking pictures directly into a new note, I am often frustrated with the ability to provide the note a title and tags before I have to save it. I launch the camera from a the widget or the quick launch 3D Touch option and once the image is captured, I can save or delete it. I can even add more pictures, but I cannot add a title to the note or tags until I have saved it, the reopened it to provide edits. Please develop an option here to rectifié the extra steps presently needed which at end to negate any "quick" aspect to the EN photo capture. I have my ideas on how to make this look, but I'd rather see a feature to support my request rather than wait for the perfect one. Pete I use Evernote on the following: iPhone 6S Plus and iPad Air, MacBook Pro, iMac, and a PC running Windows 7 (yes that is the work computer).
  4. Great thing with the new smart stickers! I tried to make a color print and putted it on a "normal" page of paper - semms, it doesn't work. Observes EN a second criteria (dotted Moleskine lines, bright contrast, kind of Moleskine paper and so on)?
  5. So I have been using Moleskine Evernote Notebooks for over a year now. During that time I changed positions within my company. So now I find I want to use my stickers for new notebooks and topics compared to my old ones. What will happen when I redefine/reallocate the stickers? Will the notes that were previously assigned notebooks and tags based on stickers be changed?
  6. However you want to phrase it, I see a need to enhance the “saved searches” of Evernote into something more dynamic that could be used to elegantly re-envision organization within Evernote. I’m thinking of something that is already utilized by anyone familiar with iTunes playlists and Aperture smart albums. You could allow for every notebook to have smart folders or smart bundles. Numerous potential criteria could be utilized as possible filters to dictate what is shown or not shown in relation to that particular folder. Items to consider for criteria: Note Date Range (any notes created between the following times) Note Name Tag(s) Media Attached Images Audio Documents PDF [*]Checklist Present (quickly pull a list of all notes with action item checklists) [*]Links [*]Location (by radius to a given lat/lon marker) [*]Location (by region... example all notes that pertain to a city, state, country, etc.) This could drastically enhance the organization potential for Evernote users with copious notes without having to rely upon constantly setting up search criteria or relying saved searches.
  7. I'm apologizing for the question that has probably been asked many times by far, but I couldn't find the answer yet. So... How do I create a note which goes to the proper NB using smart categorization? F.e.: I want this WP http://www.cars.com/guides/sedan/ to go into 'Cars' NB, but it appears in General NB... Thanks in advance. Best regards, Bontsr
  8. C'mon guys - share the love. What use are those nice Moleskin notebooks if only the iBoys and iGirls can use them! - R
