  1. I'm hoping that this is a silly question. I'm excited about the integration with Slack and Evernote, but my question is how secure is it? Meaning, my co-workers or co-worker/Slack admins can't access my personal Evernote even though I have connected my Slack account with my personal Evernote? I love being able to save Slack "clips"/ my working discussions with my Evernote for record-keeping, but am worried about co-workers or others browsing my personal Evernote which, like I said, I connected to my work Slack. Thanks for the help. I couldn't find any info online... I am sure that this connection would never be engineered this way, but thought I should ask.
  2. Two features to greatly improve the note writing and organization experience: Header Styles – Standard header styles, such as Title, Sub-title, Header 1, etc. Medium, Google Docs, and Slack Posts all are great examples of this. You should be able to select these header styles using a click of a button. The current workaround is painful: change font size for the header line, then change font size again to start writing in the smaller font. Note Outline – Once you create headers, these headers can then become a note outline that can easily be navigated. Look to Google Docs for a great example of this. This would greatly help my ability to navigate my more lengthy notes. Please see screenshots below. Hope you consider this! It would be awesome!
  3. I'm happy to introduce the Evernote Slack community. Most of you will know Slack, a team chat app. You can use the link below to join up. https://evernote-community.herokuapp.com/ Thank you!

    Slack vs. EN Work Chat

Downloaded 'Slack' yesterday, an app that went public this past February (2014) and already has a valuation of over a billion. See this for reference/context: http://www.cnbc.com/id/102138343#. Has anyone experimented with it? Would love to hear your thoughts. I've only been toying w/ Slack for a day or so, but here are my thoughts regarding when I think I'll use EN Work Chat vs. when I think I'll use Slack -- EN WORK CHAT -- Share notes from a call that happened. Share a written work (outline, synopsis, short story, etc). Share meeting notes. No desire to engage in small talk with colleagues... only feel like it's there for me to 'share' a written work / notes " ". SLACK -- Discuss a project's next steps w/ team or colleague. Desire to engage in office gossip / small talk / sharing funny pictures, etc. More social-feeling than EN work-chat, which has more of a work or die feel. Conclusion: I don't feel like one app replaces the other, and I'll enjoy using both. Would love others' thoughts...
  5. Hi, I want to use Evernote as a trigger for recipe in IFTTT but it looks that at this momento Evernote can only be used for actions. I want to send Evernote notes tagged with specific tags to Slack but since Evernote can only be used as action this is no currently possible Can anyone tell me why? I mean is this an IFTTT decission, an Evernote decission, a technical difficulty or what? I'm aware that I may use Zappier but that means adding another integration tool and I'm not very interested in taking this path unless there's really no other better solution. Thank you in advance.
