Hi there, I have an issue when copying conversations from Skype for Business into Evernote (using Paste clipboard shortcut key). The note is created with the pasted conversation, but fails to sync. The log shows "error: "Illegal to contain CDATA (ENML_VALIDATION)" I am running Evernote public release ver 184.108.40.20625 (305825) Skype for Business version is 2016 MSO - 16.0.8431.2046 This issue is easily replicated, any conversation pasted into evernote repeats the problem.
Hi this is what I want to do: - send note link via Skype from my windows PC to colleague and let him open it in Windows Desktop version of Evernote NOT in browser I have found out that to do that I need to send classic note links. I also know that to send classic note links to select note, hold down CTRL go to Note>copy note link and paste it to skype. Great so far! but when my colleague puts link in browser and tries to open it with EV desktop, he gets "The note link refers to a note that no longer exists" error. Can you help me with this error? BTW I have found this thread about the error https://discussion.evernote.com/topic/53739-the-note-link-refers-to-a-note-that-no-longer-exists-error/?locale=en It looks like similar error which was waiting to be fixed. PS: Evernote is most useful app I use most frequently and makes my work much more fun! THANKS!!!
I need to make call notes regularily on the phone. Especially when you do anything that has legal implications - you need to note the time and date of calls, then the person you spoke to. I want an App that does this on my Android, and is cloud based so that I can add/edit notes on my computer when I am at the office. Ideally it would also integrate with Skype, Gtalk, Gmail etc so it is really easy to record call notes. Happy to have Android app that records call log to cloud and then allows me to make call notes, or connect call notes to a call in log. Eg usage Make call on Android - Create note in Evernote (web/Windows) to record call. Then after call finishes, your call record pops up in Evernote "call note" screen - you can attach note to call (ie. Contact record/ Phone Number record) Maybe asks you for the name of the owner of the phone number if this is not in your address book already. Add tags to note for easy finding/ relating to case after Similar App, without Cloud or organisation:https://market.android.com/details?id=com.aps.callnote&hl=en Thoughts?
I've had a ticket open with evernote support where anytime I tried copying a note made in evernote to any other program, it would paste it as plain text and I'd lose any hyperlinks or bullet/numbered lists. They were not able to reproduce, however I accidently discovered that it was a conflict with the skype add-on "Skype Click to Call". As soon as I uninstalled this add-on from my PC, this issue disappeared. Just thought I'd share in case anyone else runs into this behavior.
