There's a big feature missing in evernote shared notebooks. There should be a feature of getting notifications and alerts when someone edits a share note or notebook.

Hey guys! I believe I have a simple issue. I have 2 accounts that I use, 1 associated with my work email and other with my personal email. Usually, I create notebooks in my personal email and share them with my work account and move notes between them. Lately, in my work account, I cannot send notes to notebooks shared from my personal account. I have a little lock icon Shared notebooks show a little group icon. "Uber" is my latest shared notebook, and it doesn't show that group Icon. Is there a limit as to how much notebooks you can share between accounts? Do I need a premium acco

I would find it extremely useful to be able to change the colour of the notebook hyperlinks that other parties see. If I share a notebook with my mum, for instance, the shared notebook links are blue on my computer but red on my mum's. This would be all well and good if the contrast were better, but Mum and her middle-aged eyes are having trouble reading the titles of our shared notebooks.

I want to share a notebook but have been unable to. It’s my first attempt to do sharing. I created the shared notebook, populated it with some notes, and invited my colleague from within the notebook in EN for Windows, but he can’t see the notebook. BTW: I’m a premium user on a PC. He has a free account and works on a Mac. By some unknown, completely unmemorable series of actions I took, heaven only knows, I seem to have been able to get us to share EN “workchat emails," if that's what you call them But that’s as far as we’ve gotten. Other key information: I'm fairly saavy wit

I have search to no avail to find an answer to this question. I am a premium user and am sharing notebooks with my co-workers. I found out yesterday that EN will not let my boss tag a note he created in a shared notebook with a tag that doesn't exist yet. I had to go into the note myself and tag the note. Is this correct? Is there a work around?

As a long-time EN Premium User (who exclusively have been using the Mac application) I love the option "filter by tags" that you can use in every notebook. But now I've just realized that when I share a notebook and then open it in a browser then you can't use the option "filter by tags" which I find extremely annoying and unproductive. Because now I can't recommend Evernote for my company (where I work as an an archivist) since the whole idea was that I could enter thousands of sources and then the staff at my firm would be able to find what they're looking for through the "filter by tags" o

I am working on an emagazine designing and publishing project with a client who is in another country. Basically what I need is something like an FTP server where I can receive high resolution photos from my client. I am living in China and China has blocked sites like Dropbox and other web storage sites. EN isn't blocked and according to EN: "Evernote Premium users can allow others to edit their notes". So I went ahead and upgraded to a premium account. I have found (after much googling) how to use the shared notebook feature but EN isn't as user friendly as I thought it would be: 1. I hav

When moving a note from Account A to a notebook shared from Account B, a dialog appears: Only tags that are already in this notebook will be added to this note. That dialog only has an "OK" button. It should also have a "Cancel" button so the user can, if desired, add all necessary tags to Account B. As it stands, the user has to force-quit to avoid losing tags. [EN on Mac]

Title says it all! When I change a notebook from Private to Public - does that mean the Notebook is made available to search engines? I want to share a notebook with class members but some of the material is special things our professor has shared with us. Am I exposing her information to being indexed by Google or other search engines?

I've been using Evernote fine this whole year and for most parts, it works great when you use it primarily between yourself. Recently, I've started using the Notebook Sharing feature of Evernote towards the tail end of last year and it worked without a hitch till recently. Now, I don't know if it is because of the new version that was installed but a couple of problems started surfacing. While they were minor ones, they've been enough of an annoyance that i'm starting to reconsider it's usage. 1) The activity stream no longer updates me when there is a change made by people whom the noteb
