Hello, I love Evernote but I'm quite a paranoid person, and I'm terrified of potential data loss. I hoard articles I've read, quotes from books I've read, notes I've made during my degree, film reviews I've written, etc. and I would hate to lose them. Can you guys let me know the best set up to ensure that my notes are never lost? I plan on buying a new computer soon, and I've heard that some people have lost their notes when logging in with their Evernote account on a new device.

Dear Evernote! I love your service, and am actively promoting it to acquaintances. However, there are two backup-related features I am missing. If you fix these, my Evernote experience would increase significantly. Situation: In becoming a heavy user of Evernote, I am more and more dependent on the safety and security of all my files stored in the service. If I, or other users of shared notebooks, accidentally delete files, I do not want to risk losing them forever. Therefore, I now export my notebooks manually once a week. Still, this kind of backup is cumbersome, and at the mercy of human memory of remembering to do it. Furthermore, all backed up notes from many different notebooks are all squeezed into one backup notebook, making my Evernote backup files messy and unorganized. I therefore have two suggestions for you, which I hope you will consider. Suggestions: 1. Adding an integrated scheduled / automated backup option that would automatically take backup of all, or selected, notebooks daily or weekly. 2. Allowing users to export Evernote notebooks in an organized manner that includes one's initial Evernote structure, i.e. keeping one's distinguished notebooks, with accompanying notes, in the Evernote backup file. Would you consider these suggestions? Best regards, a passionate Evernote user from Norway. Ps! With regards to scheduled backup, I tried third-party app "Evernote Exporter" (http://evernoteexporter.codeplex.com/releases/view/79142), but could not make this work. A solution to suggestion 1 could be similar to this.

I want to be able to protect individual notes with a password and Touch ID, not just my entire Evernote account. Is this on the roadmap? I hope it's not lost on you that onenote has this feature and apple notes recently added it as well as the ability to import evernote files. Please stay ahead of the curve, otherwise users will leave or not join in the first place.

Hello ! i am one of the heavy users of Evernote and i love using it but i think there is something that would be great if Evernote considered it. Evernote icon is always on my taskbar, and there are some days that my sisters use my laptop and i would say, i dont not feel comfortable if my sisters read some of my notes in Evernote because they are not password protected. I think that would be great if you add password protection in your next upgrades so, people like me can protect some notebooks which are personal to them.. That is why i dont keep most of my very personal notes in Evernote.. I have to keep them in other softwares so nobody can get in.. Please comment on my topic, i would be grateful to you. Thanks
