  3. Hi I've been using it for quite a while, but now the Web Clipper button is completely death: nothing happen when I click on it Yes, I both cleaned my cache and reinstalled the plugin, nothing worked. Any ideas?
  4. Hi, The web clipper is not working on my Mac with Safari. This problem has been on and off for a week or so, but now it is permanent. I uninstalled it and then installed it again. It doesn't work. Web clipper is enabled under the Preferences/ Extensions. Is there anyone else who is having this problem? Thanks!
  5. When I enter text in the Tag field of the web clipper they appear backwards, for example if I want to type Photoshop the text enters as pohsotohp. I made a movie to show you. Any ideas? I uninstalled the web clipper form Safari. I installed the developer version and the version from the Apple Gallery. Both are version 6.9.4. Is there any hidden files I need to delete to completely uninstall? I noticed it kept my user name and account settings after the uninstall. Maybe a suggestion to completely uninstall. Thanks, Paul Safari Technology PreviewScreenSnapz001.mov
  6. Scrolling for Tags on Web Clipper is OK for Users with few Tags; but very cumbersome if not impossible for Users with +500 Tags. Please implement: 1) autocomplete function 2) Creation of new tags on the fly and 3) Tag Search & Select functionality. Without this Webclipper is useless… Thanks!
  7. I decided to try to get more out of Evernote a weeks ago and installed the web clipper on Safari (10.0.3 on El Capitan). Not really used it that much and didn't have any problems when I did. The thing I did notice over the last few weeks was Safari stalling frequently when loading pages. Typically the progress bar would get to around 20% and then the beachball would appear for around 20 seconds. More prevalent on sites with a lot of Javascript. I finally tracked it down to the web clipper extension; if I have the extension installed Safari stalls and, bizarrely, the extensions preference pane is blank apart from the "Automatically update extensions..." checkbox and "More extensions" button. If I delete it (by removing it from ~/Library/Safari/Extensions because the preference pane is hosed) then everything is good. Anyone else seen this behaviour? Conscious it could be an odd interaction with another extension or plugin, but I only have 2 other extensions (1Password and ClickToPlugin) and the stalling happens even if I disable plugins.
  8. I am also afflicted with the web clipper log out issue. My browser console is filled with these notices. Is this expected? a — port.js:155XMLHttpRequest cannot load safari-extension://com.evernote.safari.clipper-Q79WDW8YH9/1a0071f0/_locales/en_us/messages.json. Cross origin requests are only supported for HTTP.
  9. Hi, I'm using Evernote Web Clipper on Safari 10.0.3. I see two line error on console pane in Web Inspector like this: [Error] XMLHttpRequest cannot load safari-extension://com.evernote.safari.clipper-Q79WDW8YH9/b7719629/_locales/en_us/messages.json. Cross origin requests are only supported for HTTP. a (port.js:2:2919) _getL10nData (port.js:2:3802) getMessage (port.js:2:3972) getExtensionID (Browser.js:2:109) initBrowser (Browser.js:2:907) Global Code (Browser.js:2:8907) [Error] XMLHttpRequest cannot load safari-extension://com.evernote.safari.clipper-Q79WDW8YH9/b7719629/_locales/en/messages.json. Cross origin requests are only supported for HTTP. a (port.js:2:2919) _getL10nData (port.js:2:3802) getMessage (port.js:2:3972) getExtensionID (Browser.js:2:109) initBrowser (Browser.js:2:907) Global Code (Browser.js:2:8907) How do i stop this error? It's really annoying when I need to use Web Inspector on Safari in development projects.
  10. My webclipper is 6.9.4, but for a couple of weeks now, it is busy loading the list of notebooks. Everything else works and if I clip something it lands in my *Incoming Ideas* notebook. I can use tags etc. Everything else works. I deinstalled and installed again. Still the same. When I want to clip something, instead of suggesting a notebook, it shows a turning circle instead of the notebook. Help me, pls!
  11. hey guys does anyone use BTT to start webclipper? tried all out, but in the webclipper keyboard shortcuts don't work with BTT (works only on my keyboard without BTT). best, lino
  12. I'm having a problem with the web clipper that seems to have started just today, possibly yesterday. When I click the evernote clipper button in Safari (Mac Mavericks), absolutely nothing happens a large percentage of the time. some URLs that this happens on: https://extensions.apple.com http://accent.gmu.edu https://www.exchangebitcoins.com/auth/login it does work on news.google.com, so the clipper is "working" sometimes, but for many many URLs recently absolutely nothing happens at all. Thanks
  13. Ever since Web Clipper 6.10.1 (I think), the web clipper has been logging itself out periodically -- every few hours in my case. It's incredibly annoying.
  14. Web Clipper functionality has been wiped out after updating to OS X Yosemite 10.10 (b4), using Safari 8.0 (10538.46). First time clicked an error pops up. No action happens every following click. Reinstalling it doesn't help much.
  15. I have a notebook that was shared to me by my colleague. I check hundred times it is set to 'can edit and invite' when it was shared. If I try to clip a web page and save it to that shared notebook, it gives me a 'cannot save clip' error message. But if I save it to my own notebook, it is fine. It is also fine to then move this note from my notebook into that shared notebook. I tried on both Chrome and Safari and saw the same error message. I just downloaded the plugin today so they should be the latest version. Is this a bug or is this a limitation with Basic users?
  16. Hi y'all, Our development team is currently investigating an issue where the notebooks list is not loading within the Evernote Web Clipper in Safari and Chrome. If you're experiencing this issue, please submit a support request with the following information: If this is occurring in Safari: Send the activity logs from the Web Clipper: 1. Open Safari and click the Evernote Web Clipper icon in the toolbar 2. Select Options 3. Scroll down to Error logs and click View Logs 4. Copy/Paste the log information into a text file 5. Attach the text file in your ticket submission If this is occurring in Chrome: Send the complex log from the Developer Console: 1. In Chrome, enter chrome://extensions/ in the address bar 2. Enable Developer mode 3. Find Evernote Clipper 4. Click on the link background.html 5. Open the Console tab in the newly opened window 6. In the main browser, try to open the Clipper and load notebooks. 7. Return to background.html window and send us the Console contents in your ticket submission Thank you for your patience while our Technical Support Team and development team work together to help get this resolved.
  17. The Safari web clipper is no longer working for me with gmail. It used to clip emails fine. Now all I get is the spinner.
  18. Safari

Hi Evernote Clipper Team I am continually having to sign back into Web clipper since updating to 10.3. Same thing is happening to a friend of mine. I look forward to it being patched:) Keep up the good work
  19. Safari

My web clipper is not working. When I try to clip something it says "login success" and then deposits me into another open tab without clipping the original page. I also notice that there is a small dot under the elephant clipper icon. I have tried unintalling and reinstalling the web clipper and I have restarted Safari and also my computer (mac).
  20. Hi-I have a Mac running Yosemite 10.10.4 and Safari 8.0.7. Evernote Web Clipper says it's 6.5 (info in the Preferences setting of Safari under Extensions). It was working but I thought there were some features that I didn't see so I uninstalled it from Safari (I know, if it's not broken leave it alone...). Downloaded it and installed it and I click on the icon in the menu bar of Safari and nothing happens. I tried that twice. Restarted Safari both times. Still not working. Restarted my computer. Still not working. So what do I do now???
  21. Safari

hey, i found out that using it with the option "simplefied article" is the best tool available to make web reading enjoyable (see picture). nowadays, i always have to click (or tab or shortcut) the button to have this design. that sucks. does anyone know an option to show webclipper on every website visited (without doing anything)? thanks, i'm using the current safari version with osx.
  22. hey EN great product, but there's one missing point: i do not have the option to always show webclipper (without having to click on the button). the option "simplified article" (see picture above) would be the best distraction free option available if i only not had to click the button on every website i visit. thanks so much!
  23. Previously, clipping YouTube videos resulted in saving the note in rich text; now, it does not. Using either Safari or Google Chrome on macOS yields the same results. I'm having difficulty in figuring out why the formatting isn't transferred over… Is anyone else experiencing this issue as well? Does anyone have a solution? This is how the YouTube video appears in the Google Chrome Web Clipper (with rich text formatting): And here's the clipped note in the app (with plain text formatting):
  24. Hi support team. When trying to clip a screenshot from a google maps page I get a black shot. (Screenshotting it with the built in MacOS screenshot function works like a charm though.) Clipping it in article mode results in a garbled grab.
  25. I was advised to post an idea for new feature here. I am a heavy iOS user - would be great if web clipper for iOS could clip simplified articles. Right now when I read on my iPad and want to save for later I can only save the whole website, which sometimes is very messy if I could get simplified text...that would be AWESOME. Evernote is AWESOME! Possible?
