  1. Hi, I'm regularly using both Feedly (for RSS reading) and Evernote (for general notes) I want to sync all my feedly tagged items with Evernote (to handle my big data only in one platform) but it's not possible unless you're not a premium Feedly user. In addition, one may send only one item at a time, there is no such a bulk export from Feedly to Evernote. If there will be a bundled RSS module / reader in Evernote (that we can follow all the feeds here), wouldn't it be nice? Thanks.
  2. Hi, as far as I know rss feeds from shared notebooks were canceled a year ago. Has anyone find a way to create them? Thanks, Agustin
  3. We currently have support for RSS feeds for public notebooks to allow subscribers to automatically get updates to those notebooks. Last night's (4/10/2013) release of the web service removed this support. Attempts to access Public Notebook RSS feeds will return a 404 HTTP response code instead of the heretofore expected content. At this point, the feature was imposing excessive load on the service relative to its use and utility, and the decision was made to remove it.
  4. Hi I am wondering how to get my own blog posts to automatically get sent to an Evernote folder. I tried IFTTT but can't seem to make that work - if anyone has a recipe that would be great. I wondered about somehow using the RSS feed - but not sure how to make that work. Any suggestions of how to automate this would be appreciate.d
  5. Hey, Since EN removed the functionality of generating RSS feeds from notebooks I'm painfully missing it. Do you happen to know if there is any software/piece of code etc. which brings back this feature. Using the API this should not bee too complicated, but my PHP knowledge and ability to build something on my own is very limited. Thanks for any ideas. :-) Regards, Johannes
  6. What's up with the RSS feed of the Evernote Blog? It doesn't work any more. The latest entry was last week, and there have been several posts since then. Please fix this! Some of us still use RSS! http://blog.evernote.com/feed/
  7. Sorry if this has been answered before - but I promised I did a few searches before posting. I use the Evernote 4 plug-in for Outlook 2007. It works perfectly with email, but when I go down the the RSS feeds the button is disabled. Is there a way to clip directly from Outlook RSS feeds into EN? Right now I either have to cut and paste, or open the individual blog entry in its webpage and clip from there. Thanks
  8. Is it possible to add a widget for my Evernote account to a home page?
  9. A web site I work on, the New Message from God, relies heavily on Evernote to generate RSS content, which lists everything from student locations to sayings of the Prophet and passages from the New Revelation. With the abrupt and silent abandonment of Evernote's RSS feeds, we have to look elsewhere. My question for those with the same problem is what will you do? And how will you do it? I am looking at exporting notebooks to HTML pages, importing them into Wordpress with something like this and then turning notebooks into categories, and using those category feeds. I'm sure there will be obstacles, but this seems like a not-to-complex solution. Any other ideas? Better ideas?
  10. As a developer, I'd thing this would be incredibly beneficial and it isn't hard. It would make it easier to filter RSS feeds of public notebooks only for specifically tagged items. Of course, by default it would be disabled and would have to be enabled in the shared notebook's options. I'd expect the tags to be shown in the standard <category> tag of the XML <item> Thanks!
  11. Does anyone know what the limits on the RSS feeds from public notebooks are? Is it based on Kb size per article? Number of characters? Number of words? Any other limit? I try to find any pattern in the feed of a public notebook but can't see it. I don't want to get in the discussion of full-content feeds :-) I just want to know what the current limits are! Thanks, Frank
  12. I have created a publicly shared notebook, which, like all publicly shared notebooks, is automatically given an RSS feed. (For anyone who doesn't know, you access this by adding "/feed" to the end of the notebook URL, e.g.: http://www.evernote....menotebook/feed) This is great, but if the notes in that notebook are long, only the first 1028 characters get written to the RSS feed, the rest gets truncated. Does anyone know if there is a way to have the full note contents written to the RSS feed?
  13. Hi, i shared a notebook and i found that url to get the RSS feed: http://www.evernote.com/shard/s189/pub/22045980/lcoronelp/calsky/rss.jsp?max=25&sort=2&search= But the Rss item description is only a excerpt and not the full content of the note. I can see the GET options "max", "sort" and "search" in the url of Rss, then i think that can exist the option to see the full content of the note with some GET option , it's not right? But I don't know which is the variable to do that! hehe This service (Rss) in Evernote is great, but if I could get the full content would be perfect! Thanks!
  14. I use MailChimp to send out my blog posts to my email subscribers. A few months ago, I realized that I could subscribe to my own blog using my Evernote email address. As a result, I have a backup of every post. You can obviously do this with any blog where you want to maintain a complete database of posts for reference later. Just a thought ...
  15. Per user request, I've made some external RSS feeds available from the forum. If you'd like to see something more specific made (like, say, IOS, or Skitch only, Android, etc), put in your request below and I'll add to the list. I'd love to give you a summary version (rather than link and topic title only) but that's a little messy looking, so for now we're sticking with your standard feed with no summary text.
