  1. As described, when I go to clip an infographic or larger picture file, Evernote downscales it into a grainy, almost useless picture. Is there any way to fix this?
  2. Hello, I'm facing an issue with the business card feature of Evernote. I just scanned a business card and the note created ended up taking more than 5Mb of space. This business card has normal physical dimensions but the background is dark/black with many different shades, so it might be the reason why the size became so big. I have scanned other dark business cards with darker background (but more uniform shades/monochrome) and it reaches barely 1Mb, which is still decent. I have changed the image resolution option to small on Evernote, but it doesn't seem to affect the business card feature of the app. How to make these business cards scans smaller ? Note: I'm using Evernote 8.2.2.353110 on iPhone 7 with iOs 10.3.2
  3. Does evenote offer ANY control over photo resolution when pictures are taken on Galaxy S7?
  4. As phone makers battle to up the pixels it makes photos taken on the phone huge, on the devices they look crisp and stunning in proportion on the device screen. However in the evernote desktop app they appear so large that it makes writing text around them and formatting them really hard and even after editing them and making them smaller if you move them they revert back to their incredibly huge size. I'm asking for pictures to be displayed at a default size with the option to view them at their huge over the top size with a little tap or to be able to edit picture quality within evernote. Anyone else feeling this?
  5. Hello everybody, I'm Lorenzo Mondaini from Italy. I got an HPx2-210 (2-in-1 laptop) with Windows10. The resolution of Evernote program on it is not in "high definition" as on my any other laptop. It is slightly blurry and I don't undestand why. What can I do to fix it? (I want to precise that I'm not talking about the Evernote Touch app for Windows - I even got that but it doesn't work very well on 2-in-1 laptop when you don't use the touchscreen.) I attached a screen of my desktop here below so you can have a look. Thanks. Lorenzo M
  6. Hello I am new to Evernote I want to create Notes that have images that are stored at full resolution, but which are displayed as thumbnails. SURELY this is possible (!) but I can not see how. This can be done in other applications e.g. Microsoft Word - even in HTML. J P.S. This is an absolute deal-breaker for me. Btw I am running: Evernote v5.9 Public (on Windows 8.1 x64)
  7. Anyone knows why the resolution of beta 9 does not fit the FHD screen? It is uncomfortable using evernote on a 1920*1080 display. I thought the biggest highlight of beta 8 was making the resolution fit the screen. Why the update made the product worse?
  8. What is the best resolution size to select to exporting into EN? I FINALLY found a great iPhone/iPad app to help me with BATCH camera exports from my mobile devices (iPhone/iPad) to EN via the "Photogene" app."Photogene" also gives me export file size choices of 1) Resolution size: 200. 320, 640, 800, 1024, 1600, 2048, & 2592 (default original size), & 2) DPI: 72x72, 96x96, 150 x150, 180x180, 200x200. I do not know what is lowest 1) resolution size & 2) DPI size I can choose that will still let me be able to read my documents well? While I am a premium EN user, large file sizes could still be prohibitive as I have quite a photo backlog of research photos (document pics + photo pics). "Photogene" app also had great reviews for editing photos..but for me my #1 find for it was to find a way to bring in a large number of related photos from my devices directly into EN at once, eliminating the emailing pic by pic time consuming export nightmare. Due to the backlog of photos I have, I need large batch exporting directly into EN that bypasses my plugging my devices into my also full computer. In the future I will be changing my photo export workflow, beginning with using "FastEver Snap-Camera for Evernote" app which also allows choosing image sizes from original size, UXGA(1600 × 1200), XGA(1024 × 768), VGA (640 × 480) and QVGA (320 × 240). (Default is XGA). Of course looking for guidelines of best file size choice for that export too!??? Image sizes are compressed for sending small file sizes as well & it supports EN notebook and tags too. Have other EN users tried this app for quick pics on their mobile devices for easy exporting into EN?? What file sizes did you choose? I will also be using "kooaba Shortcut" app to take pictures of pages in newspapers and magazines to save a digital copy straight into my EN account. I do alot of research in books and take photos to remember key points. Currently I use either camera app on mobile device or sometimes "GeniusScan" app, which I really like! Just discovered can export from "Genius Scan" straight into EN too! WHAT has been your best workflows from getting your mobile devices photos into EN?? Best resolution sizes??
  9. Hi, I just bought Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro with resolution of 3200 x 1800 but using this resolution, evernote application does not show up correctly. Icons are really small and texts are tiny. Will ever Evernote windows application support high resolutions in the near future?
  10. I was doing a presentation on Evernote the other day - using a company projector. If you ever do this, you probably notice how your video changes the resolution to match that of the projector. Well, at the smaller resolution, the toolbar on my notes in evernote was just narrow enough to hide the TAG button's title, but not the icon. The result was that it you still have a tag button, but it doesn't do anything. When my toolbar is 551 pixels wide, it looks correct, and works: But when my toolbar gets narrowed to 547 pixels wide, it looks like this (showing icon, no title), and does not work: It took a minute of fooling around to figure it out. Just an opportunity for improvement, and a heads up to other Windows evernote users.
