  1. I have found a way to create recurring reminders for Evernote with a litte help from Gmail and Google Calendar. Maybe it is helpful for someone who is missing this feature until Evernote hopefully implements it. There are a few possibilities out there in the web. But I wanted a free one and also one in my favorite eMail application. 1. Create a recurring calendar event in Google Calendar with a title, reminder, the notebook-name and a tag like: Newsletter !tomorrow @Office #marketing Newsletter - your reminder title !tomorrow - your reminder @Office - your notebook #marketing - your tag IMPORTANT Don't forget to activate, that you will be reminded to this event by eMail. 2. Go to "Settings" in Gmail - Klick on Forwarding Pop/IMAP and then on "add forwarding-address" - Place your Evernote eMail which you are using to forward anything into your inbox. It's an email like xxxxxxxx@m.evernote.com and safe it. Google will send directly (after you confirmed) a confirmation code to your Evernote eMail (xxxxxxxx@m.evernote.com) Go to your Evernote inbox. The eMail from Google lands there. Grab the confirmation code and paste it at Gmail to confirm your Evernote adres. 3. Set a filter in Gmail - Go to your Gmail account settings. - Set a new filter and place to the "FROM" field this address: calendar-notification@google.com - Click on "create filter with this search results" at the bottom right. - Then activate "forward to", and choose your Evernote eMail (which you have activated in Step 2) Save your filter. Done! I have tested it, it works very well. You are now able to set recurring calendar events for Evernote in Google Calendar. Google Mail forwards now calendar events with an activated eMail reminder from calendar-notification@google.com to your Evernote address. Evernote places the event including the reminder the specified notebook including the tag. There is just one issue when I am right. Correct me please, if I am wrong: You always have to set up your recurring reminders to "one day before", because there is no option in Evernote to specify a time for a reminder in the subject. Example: When you wanna be reminded regularly on a Friday, you have to set your reminder to thursday, because you are using !tomorrow in your subject. That's it. Hopefully this is helpful for someone. Regards. Note: Please Evernote. A small fine task management with recurring reminders would be really fine.
  2. Hello I would like to be able to set reccuring reminders on specific notes so that I can set up a note for recurring events that have to be dealt with. It would be nice if they could be set up in a way like: every 2 days every week every 2 weeks every month etc. Of course this could be even more specifc like: every last friday in the month. Kind regards, Leu
  3. I tested recurring reminders last month, and now can't turn the darned thing off! I set up a recurring reminder to "water garden" for every-other-day. I can delete that day's reminder, but can't find access to the original reminder to delete or turn off. Thanks!
  4. Hi, I'm using Evernote with very few notebooks, as I prefer to organise and to search with tags. As I'm using Evernote also for task management, I've created tags for recurring tasks: 'REC - 1 Day', 'REC - 2 Months', 'REC - 6 Weeks', etc. Until recurring reminders is implemented one day (if at all), this is working very well for me. Now my question: How can I search for all notes with a tag for recurring event? (So, how to search for notes with tags starting with 'REC'?) For a second, I thought I've found the solution myself by creating a tag group called 'RECURRING', with all my 'REC-tags' nested in it. Except tag groups are not really groups, but in fact just...a tag, referring to 0 notes. I was hoping it would show me the total of all notes nested within it. I hope I'm making sense here as english is not my native language : ) Any help or suggestions would be appreciated! Vincent
  5. Greetings, I've been using Evernote for a few years and recently I started to deal with recurring dates for projects. For me, a downside of Evernote is the lack of recurring reminders. I tried two apps with the reminder function, Todoist and Google Keep. However, Todoist locks the feature for its Premium users, which is a major reason for me to look for something else, since I already pay for the Premium version of Evernote. I found in Google Keep a solid app to use in integration with Evernote, specially because of its robust reminder function, with a lot of possibilities to set recurring reminders. My basic workflow has Evernote as a main repository of tasks, with linked notes stored in separate main planning notes, for each project. Now, with Keep, based on the planning I did with Evernote, I set the weekly and monthly reminders to remind me of important deadlines, tasks and events related to those projects. I can say it works like a charm. I wanted to know other ways to integrate and fully implement productivity workflows with Evernote and the recurring reminder function of Keep. Suggestions? Thanks in advance. gcg79
  6. RECURRING reminders seems like such an obvious feature to enable on the reminder feature. Am I missing something? Seem like a no brainer. Please advise.
  7. How to set recurring reminders I just can't find it anywhere or I don't know how to set them up, any help?
  8. BASED ON THE RESPONSES RECEIVED THUS FAR, THE ANSWER IS "NO". I've subscribed to a CRM - Insightly. Thnx to those who have participated here! I am attempting to use Evernote as Contact Management System or as a Contact Relationship Manager (CRM) for my real estate business. So far, so good! If I could add a recurring reminder while also using the reminders for a single (one-off) reminder at the same time, that would be so amazing. There may already be a way of doing this, and if there is, please point me in the right direction. I tend to use Evernote on my iPad about 90 percent of the time. Thank you Sam Soukas
