Also if the file recorded was over this size and couldnt sync, how can i get it off phone. Thanks
  2. Hi To record quick ideas, I would like to make Evernote (Mac) record the sound coming from my keyboard which is plugged to my audio interface. Somebody recommended the app SoundFlower but I don't know how to configure it right. Any help please? Thanks
  3. I would like to use Evernote to record a phone interview on a MAC for a research project. Have others used it this way? Any suggestions? Thank you!
  4. On my iPhone 4, I could create new note, click the record icon, record my voice, then play it back. On my new HTC One, I create a new note, click the "+" icon, select record icon, it starts the timer, I talk, nothing is recorded. I just saw the message about the Evernote Widget. I downloaded it, put it on my home screen, launched the audio recorder, it created a new note and the timer started. I talked. I clicked the check mark. It stopped and displayed the speaker icon. I tapped the audio speaker icon. It said "0" seconds recorded.. what's the deal?
  5. New evernote user here. I recently got a samsung note (the big phone with a stylus) and have started using it for school, I would like to be able to write freely(as in skitch) for my lecture notes, but come across the problem that if i want to record I must use a different application, or I must type the notes using swype or just the android keyboard. I may be missing something, but it feels to me as though this is a simple enough of a task and I am just missing something, but I can't seem to find anywhere where I can record for a note while in skitch. Is this not possible? if so how do I do it?
  6. Hi every Evernoter! I have just discovered Evernote, so I don't yet know my way around. I have done a couple of hours of searching on Google, but I haven't found what I'm looking for yet. Please forgive me if this question has already been laboured to death... I would like to be able to use a Notebook in a similar way to a Table in a database. In other words, I would like to be able to create a series of Notes, all with the same structure. For example, all the Notes in a Notebook named "Contacts" could have a two-column table with a four-row structure like this: Name: Jack Horner Email: jack@example.com Phone: 555-678-1234 Picture: <image> The idea is that every time you create a new note in this particular Notebook, the table with all the labels in the left column will be created automatically, so all you have to do is fill in the details. Is this already possible, by using something from the Trunk? Or will I have to use a workaround like creating a note with an empty table, and copying that table to every new note? I can see that there is a developer community using an API to create other applications that interact with Evernote, but is there a way to create new functionality (such as the feature I have described) that will work within Evernote? Thanks for your patience with a newbie, and for pointing me gently in the right direction. Cheers, James
  7. I would love the option to re-map a button on my phone that would allow me to simply hold it down to capture my voice data. For instance, as long as the app is running on my phone, I could just hold down the volume button and speak to crate a new voice note. No need to "wake up"the phone and tap the voice note button on the screen. I work in law enforcement and make dozens of voice notes every day. I have to pull over and park the car before I can create a note. This is obviously a problem if I'm following a car or responding to a call (the job takes presidence so I miss many of the voice notes I would like to make got my end of shift paperwork). If I could simply hold down my volume key and speak, I wouldn't need to stop each time. Thank you, Jbpowers
