  1. Evernote Dutchman

    Multiple recognition languages

Evernote has done a wonderful job of making text in images and PDFs searchable. It makes capturing and storing non-text input so much more valuable. The standard option Evernote offers is to recognize texts in English with another language optional. Now, I work with 4 languages permanently with 2 more less frequently and scan documents in those languages. Right now, my account settings cover 2 of the languages in use. The proposed solution: Maintain the default setting for language recognition in Evernote, as it will cover for a large group their needs. For those working wth multiple language, set the additional language either per image/PDF, or extend the general settings to multiple languages. The good part is Evernote has already the capability to scan many language. Please, make those available to the individual user. Looking forward to contributing to a solution.
  2. Hello I hope this is the right category for my question. I am a teacher and until now I still use my paper based teachers calendar. I think it is cool to take a picture of something handwritten to upload it to Evernote. But I am not sure if there is a possibility, to edit a handwritten note in the same way. For example I have a page with a table of notes, my students got within the last month. I take a picture and Evernote recognizes this table and integrates it with the already existing table which I uploaded a month ago, or which I created using Excel. Is this possible with my smartphone camera? Or maybe with the livescribe Smartpen? This device should recognize the paper as the same one I wrote on before...!? thank you :-)
  3. It would be wonderful if voice notes were searchable, and an approximated transcript attempt was added to each voice note. I don't know if Android limitations would allow the following shortcut to this goal: record the audio AND let the Android device do its speech-to-text magic for audio notes, in a single shot for one audio stream.
  4. Hi, i am working in C# and i got a problem with the Recognition.Body When i make a notestore.getResource call with all parameters to true i receive a good resource file, with a recognition property set to something which has a set bodyhash and length but no body. The _isSet for the body is false. The api advertise the "notestore.getResource" like this : "@param withRecognition If true, the Resource will include the binary contents of the 'recognition' field's body if recognition data is present." I look at https://sandbox.ever....com/debug/guid and there are plenty of "good recognition words". What should i do? I don't want to waste another notestore call (like NoteStore.getResourceRecognition) for this. Performance is very important here. Thanks! Marc. P.S.: <3 to SethH! (I know you will read this!),
