  1. Hi gang, I am new here but not to Evernote. I absolutely love it. Anyhow, I am having a bit of an issue and am hoping someone can help me with it. I opened a note that had some really small text in a pdf that I was wanting to read. As it was so small I hit the ctrl key and the roller on my mouse to see if I could get it large to read. Well now all my text in all my notes is really big and zoomed in. I have tried ctrl and the mouse wheel again, I have checked the font size and it is a normal size (10 or 12). It is fine on my mobile device. Any suggestions on what I can do to fix this. Thanks in Advance for any help.
  2. Add an option to view full notes, one after another, like an endless stream of notes. save me from having to open multiple notes just to review them drawn one after another on the screen, with some visual separation I can see a bunch of short notes all at once I can scroll through a series of notes like browsing a long document, for easy review still be able to make this note view full screen so I can see more of the notes at once, more like flipping through my notebook now. the existing list of notes would still provide a convenient way to jump around a large list of notes (say to get to a specific point in time in my notes) Hopefully this is not a duplicate. Related / Complimentary Feature Requests (that I don't believe replace this) Presentation mode for multiple notes (but I want this for regular navigation and even note editing) https://discussion.evernote.com/topic/99898-presentation-mode-for-entire-notebooks-tags-or-selections-of-notes/ Quickly move between notes (but I want to see multiple notes on the screen at once) https://discussion.evernote.com/topic/100378-quickly-move-to-next-previous-note/ Tagging blocks of text within a note (this view could show that tagged block in this view, kind of a "note within a note" feature, which would be awesome) https://discussion.evernote.com/topic/100942-feature-request-tagging-portions-of-text/
  3. Hi, Why the setting for resizing font and line-spacing doesn't exist for Evernote Web Clipper (https://drive.google.com/open?id=1AyE9eL9nFvvKvevcgYL8qj9pXGniw9n3)? It would be more confortable for the reading. Like Firefox Reading Mode (https://drive.google.com/open?id=1WIWbq88P4qijcmZAtQk8NNAgrDaCj-_i). Thanks, Thierry.
  4. Back in the day, you used to be able to pinch zoom a note and the text would get bigger but remain within the window width. I believe this is called 'Autoflow'. Nowadays when you pinch zoom the text runs off the right side of the window and you have to scroll over, down, and back, over, down, and back to read with larger text. Needless to say, annoying. I found this old thread on the topic, but it is dead and has not been acknowledged by the Evernote team. https://discussion.evernote.com/topic/50402-page-autoflow-not-working/ It seems that Evernote Android is using an outdated WebView component which is the core of the problem. I would really like Autoflow to be repaired so I can read comfortably. If anybody has any information on fixing this or has their own experience with Autoflow working please let me know.
  5. One strange aspect of Evernote is that although it allows an amazing assortment of options for note taking, it does not offer many/any features to ease the reading process. Note taking goes hand in hand with reading, listening, viewing. I will often use the "Simplified Article" option within the Evernote Chrome plugin. When I view the simplified article I LOVE IT. The article become a maximum width, the images are organized carefully with the article. It becomes easier to view and read. However there's a catch. It doesn't save the article in that format within Evernote. I understand that the point of the simplified feature is not about readability as opposed to removing parts of the page that may not relate to the article. However as a matter of user experience, it's confusing to _view_ the reader-friendly page in the browser but not see it in the application. My suggestion: A readability option for all notes. A button that will duplicate what the "Simplified Article" button does in the browser plugin. This is a problem that has been solved by others in the past and can be duplicated - https://mercury.postlight.com/reader/
  6. Evernote is already used by many as a study, research, and creative tool. Its power as a learning acquisition tool could be drastically increased with an incremental learning tool; currently, the only other company using this method is the famed Supermemo, but its interface is far less developed than Evernote. I suggest adding an "incremental reading" option to the web-clipper tool, whereby one can highlight important text right within the web-page window, and when saved, it's grouped into a separate incremental reading notebook that provides prompts on when to continue reading articles at the place you left off. Incremental reading is one of the most powerful learning tools available to date--surprisingly, not many people know about this. Essentially, incremental reading is a method of breaking extensive knowledge resources down into component parts that can be assimilated into long-term memory in small increments. Rather than reading a twenty-page research article in a single sitting, one could break that into smaller 5-minute bites spread over a few weeks. This approach leverages the concept of "spaced repetition," which has been scientifically proven to drastically improve knowledge consolidation and recall. You can read more about incremental reading and spaced repetition here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Incremental_reading
  7. If you have the Kindle or Word app on your android you will have noticed that you can increase the font size for better reading and the words are automatically adjusted, instead of a mere zoom of the page as it were a Pdf. I wish I could do that with evernote on my phone since it's the place where I save articles I want to read later
  8. Hey Guys, There are new and efficient ways of reading stuff then having long notes to go trough. Fast reading apps like http://velocireaderapp.com/ deliver content in a new way. It would be a huge benefit for Evernote users to have the possebility on mobile devices to send the text of a note to another app to read it there. Today in Evernote it's only possible to send an SMS, twitter, facebook, email. With the posebility to send the text to an fast reading app the backlog of stuff to read - which store all Evernote users in Evernote - would shrink. In my opinion a must have feature (at least for pro users and GTD heros). Greetings JJ
