  1. Hi everyone, Here's what's in the release that went out tonight. Help and Transition - For those that are still getting used to using the new Evernote Web, we now have a full helper guide to ease you through the transition from the old version to the new version. You can find this link in the Account menu located at the bottom left of your screen under "Help and Learning". We also have a quick FAQ article that folks can access by clicking on "Learn More about the New Evernote Web" Creating and Deleting Saved Searches - For those who have not found the feature yet, we recently added back the ability to create and delete saved searches. Simply click on the search icon in the left navigation bar. You'll see a "Save Search" button once the search is executed. To delete a previously created saved search, hover over the saved search and click on the Trash can icon. Known Issues - We know of some issues with searches created from the Mac Client. These issues will be addressed in a future release. Updates to Quota for Premium Users - We've updated how quota works for our premium users. You can read more details about it here: https://blog.evernote.com/blog/2015/08/11/finding-the-perfect-fit/. Happy Evernoting! Keep the feedback coming. We are listening. Features coming in future releases: Copy notelinkMultiselect notes + core actionsCreation of nested tags - Nancy
  2. Using latest official client on Windows 7, I started getting failed sync messages (though my notes appear up to date on website). It wasn't long after joining a free user's shared notebook. As far as I know, they didn't use up their quota (but they may have - they were getting close). Would this really cause me, as a premium user (who has barely made a dent in his own quota), to get the quota exceeded message on my end along with the red exclamation? Or should I be looking at other causes?
  3. My premium account expired today and even before I could do anything, the quota for this month expired. Isnt the quota reset monthly ?
  4. Hi, Evernote says I have uploaded the 60M quota. and 'Upload allowance resets in 25 days' I didnt upload 60M in the last 5 days. Is this a bug? Who/how can this be checked? I feel I'm being pushed to premium in a fraudulent way. Thanks for assisting - Nirbd
  5. At 16KB left I'm fairly close to reaching my monthly upload quota limit, but it's enough space to modify a few lines of text. Adding a bit of text from the desktop client isn't a problem, but I have a warning (with a red exclamation point on the note) on my Android application that I've exceeded my monthly upload quota. Text changes made from the Android client don't sync. Text changes made from the desktop client sync, but cause a "Note conflict" note to appear in the Android application. First and foremost, I'd like to understand why the Android application believes I haven't *any* space left. If anyone has suggestions for how to understand/address the present situation I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks very much!
  6. My Windows 8 desktop client was a little slow in keeping up with my usage. I dragged a lot of files into my shared folder until I reached about 3/4 of my monthly limit. (I wanted to save room for normal usage for the remaining weeks.) So I stopped, and went on to something else. I came back to my computer about 30 minutes later to see an error message stating that I had exceeded my quota and did i want to buy more space. I said no, and went to check my usage. Sure enough, it was now at the limit. Disappointed. So, now I have no clue what was synced, and what was not synced due to my hitting the limit. I understand and accept the rules, BUT... When my monthly quota resets, will the remaining data upload and sync, or do I have some data, somewhere, that I think is safely in the cloud, but never will be? Thanks. -pbj.
  7. I'm totally confused about my upload quota. If i add a typewritten (text) note to Evernote, does that count against my upload quota? Then, if I edit said text note, that counts as an addition to my quota, too? Is my upload quota affected by the fact that I have Evernote on 3 devices, all synced? My Mac, an iPhone, and an iPad? Does that triple the amount of space I'm using? So, typing in a note from the keyboard is called an upload to the web, as well as to my device? Or can I type something in to Evernote on my computer, and not have it count as an upload? Why didn't I get an email alert telling me I've gone over my monthly quota? I have gone over my quota for the month, but never got an alert. Yesterday, I added a note (by using the keyboard) to Evernote on my Mac. Later, I noticed the note wasn't on my iPhone. This morning, I noticed the note wasn't on any of my devices. I just don't understand how this works.
