  1. Would like to extend your fast note process. With a shortcut a single windows which displays 1 line for writing a note, in which you can use # for giving this note the right notebook and + for giving the note the right tags and ^ for setting a reminder on the right date. After you pressed # or + an autocompletion let you easily find the right notebooks and tags. So, a possible one-line command would look like this: #mynotebook +evernote +forum +request ^06-29 Write a note in the evernote forum to get the feature for 1-line notes No, its not my idea. I am using the tool of doit.im besides evernote, because of this fast and easy 1-line note feature. Do u like it as well?
  2. I recently discovered a quick way (though it may not be new) to post action items on Todoist using Evernote on my iPad for notes that I have captured and converted into actionable items. This is done by simply selecting the box with upward arrow in it and selecting Todoist as the app of choice. (It appears exactly like the one attached herein) I do, however, cannot find the same function on my Evernote App using Macbook Pro Retina. Is there a way to replicate this functionality, or am I just simply missing out something here? Thanks and appreciate your help! Cheers!
  3. Using Evernote on my mac I find very comfortable to add a quick note with the shortcut ^-cmd-N , anyway it looks like it is impossible to tag it. Is there actually a way to tag a quick note and I'm missing how or there is no way to do it?
  4. There is need for a quick-start note-taking utility. If I recall correctly, Evernote *used to be* just that: starting up lightning fast as an open blank slate, ready for note-taking. Now, of course, with many options and features, Evernote opens more slowly to reveal a vast array of folders, navigation, and other options. What I'd like to see is, a quick, lightning fast, blank slate, for typing a note on the fly. Let it be set-and-forget, with userid/password and default Evernote notebook, and *that's it*! Let it open as quickly as, for example, Notes or Stickies on MacOSX. Evernote might also look into the "QuickEver" app published for iPads, which does a thing very similar to this request. Just simple and *very* quick. No heavy word-processing/formatting involved! A blank slate. And for *typists*, not touch-drawers such as Penultimate users. Okay?
  5. Hi, I would really like a quick way to create a new, blank/empty note for general thoughts/ideas. Especially when I am browsing the web I might be thinking of something (or many things!) and I'd like to quickly jot those down. I read in one of these discussion posts on here about right-clicking and then choosing new note. This then loads the evernote web interface. What I would prefer is a simple one hit button in the browser (similar to, for example the Chrome Notetpad extension) where the notes are very quickly synced up to evernote. Is there something like this around? I also spotted Diigo are looking to do something with their Quick Note tool which too is along the right lines... but no dice on the sync to evernote yet cheers Baronne
