  1. I would like to be able to find my Evernore public Profile address URL please.
  2. E.g. https://www.evernote.com/shard/s294/sh/2098f175-dc8c-4e55-ae83-0556117ce5b3/0f104e7a94612489 But I found that some shared notes did not prompt. e.g: https://www.evernote.com/shard/s12/sh/4d971333-8b65-45d6-857b-243c850cabf5/25771cdb535e9183 ps: visit the above link without logging in evernote. What can I do to remove this prompt?
  3. I have no problems with the desktop or the mobile apps. However, publicly shared notes never seem to load in mobile browsers on iOS (Chrome, Safari, Firefox). I just get a loading indicator and the progress indicator stops halfway across the screen. — and yes I know all three browsers are built upon Apple's webkit. WiFi signal is strong, devices have been power-cycled. iOS Browser Apps (all three mentioned) have had thier cache purged and when that didn't work I deleted and redownload the mobile browsers. These are just plain text notes w/o no pictures or extensive formatting. Devices tested on, iPhone 6, iPad Pro both running iOS v10.3.2. Oddly, enough the problem can't be replicated on Android devices.
  4. I am using Evernote beta(6.5.3.4452(304452) Prerelease). And I have a question: between beta and public of Evernote windows, which one has fewer bugs? If it is almost same, then I wanna use beta, since I wanna try new features. Thanks.
  5. I created a public note today and tested the URL, and a popup/overlay appeared right over my note (see attachment). Is there a way to disable this? I just want to share my note with the world, not invite people to sign up for Evernote.
  6. Hi, everyone I am mainly using the web edition daily, and have 2 something related questions at this topic. 1. I have shared a notebook for public view from PC Chrome browser. But when I access this notebook from my iPhone Safari, it is displaying as the same view just like it shows me at my PC browser which is not mobile friendly. Any settings could I do something adjustment to compatible with mobile browser, please? BTW, when sharing a individual note, this individual one is showing as mobile friendly at my iPhone Safari. 2. How could I see all of my shared notes and notebooks? I can not find the menu from the web edition, am I missing it? Thank you.
  7. I want to be able to share a note publicly and keep updating it over time. The problem is if someone saves the note, they won't get the updates. Therefore I would like to be able to disable the 'Save to Evernote' button.
  8. Hi! I have an incredibly stupid question: Can I share an Evernote with the public? Specifically, I'm writing a travel guidebook, and want to create an interactive packing check list with my readers. My goal is to give Evernote-using readers of my book a tool that they can subscribe to check off what they've packed for their trips from a suggested list, one that they can re-use over and over again. My wife and I constantly share Evernotes and notebooks, and I've used a packing list I've created to help me not forget essentials for upcoming trips, as well as to never leave anything behind in my hotel room. You know, little things like my phone, wallet, wedding ring, passport, etc. Sure, I could create a check list document with an app like Word or Adobe InDesign, and save it as a .pdf. And I still might. But I thought that using Evernote for this, and sharing it with others, could be a tremendous help. Where I'm ignorant is whether Evernote's public note sharing function would really support this. Thanks in advance for your ideas and suggestions. I'm trying to avoid looking as stupid as I normally do!
  9. Greetings, Curious if Evernote might offer a way to track visitations to a notebook for which a public URL has been furnished? Would this feature not bring some value to sharing a notebook? Thanks, Thomas
  10. Hi there, recently, I shared my notebook with my friends using "Public link url". So, I gave them link via IM in order for them to join my shared notebook. They said, they already clicked the link and joined my shared notebook. How can I edit permission and see how many people are in my shared notebook if I using "Public link url"? Thank you and I can elaborate more if you need more information.
  11. Yikes-a-rooney. Just tried to paste a note link into another note, and got this: "You are pasting a note link into a public notebook from a non-shared notebook. Viewers of the public notebook will not be able to access the note associated with this link." The problem? This isn't supposed to be a public notebook. When I view it in Notebooks, there's no mention of it being shared. What's going on...and...is the content of my account still secure? This rattles the willies out of me since I just updated to version 5.4.3 (402231) a couple of hours ago. Please tell me this is a bug and not a security hole.
  12. I've started an experiment with a public folder, shared with the world, at https://www.evernote.com/pub/dminoz/theapocalypseofhephaestusI intend to post chapters of a novel that I am working on (The Apocalypse of Hephaestus), so it is essentially serialized on Evernote. So my questions are: Has anyone tried anything similar, and with what results, feedback, readership, etc? And also, what would be some good ways to promote the project, and to get the word out? Does anyone have any advice re using Evernote as a platform for writing / fiction? Thanks, David philobiblion.com.au
  13. As a developer, I'd thing this would be incredibly beneficial and it isn't hard. It would make it easier to filter RSS feeds of public notebooks only for specifically tagged items. Of course, by default it would be disabled and would have to be enabled in the shared notebook's options. I'd expect the tags to be shown in the standard <category> tag of the XML <item> Thanks!
  14. I have created a publicly shared notebook, which, like all publicly shared notebooks, is automatically given an RSS feed. (For anyone who doesn't know, you access this by adding "/feed" to the end of the notebook URL, e.g.: http://www.evernote....menotebook/feed) This is great, but if the notes in that notebook are long, only the first 1028 characters get written to the RSS feed, the rest gets truncated. Does anyone know if there is a way to have the full note contents written to the RSS feed?
