  1. Hi. Would please let me know how to handle multiple projects and structure the content with Evernote for Windows. I have few notebooks as suggested by David Allen. My window at Evernote was customized to show 3 parts, panel on the left, cards of the projects in the middle and detais of notes in the right. One of these is for example "Projects Personal" and on such logical place it I have created Project 1 and so forth, and under this notebook called Project 1 I would like to add major milestones as the major steps I need to accomplished and wanted to be able to view on my center and also right of my Evernote window every tasks that belongs to each unique project. Shortcutt inbox >Next Action > Projects Personal Project 1 Project 2 Project 3 SomewayMaybe Waiting For Per example in the middle I would be able to see all those notes about personal projects to be accomplished in the following weeks ahead. Phase 1 Project 1 Phase 2 Project 1 Phase 3 Project 1 Phase 4 Project 1 Phase 1 Project 2 Phase 2 Project 2 Phase 3 Project 2 As I am planning and adding what is necessary to be done for each project and need to track individual tasks that belongs to individual Phases of a specific Project x , the question for Community is how I add individual tasks to these major Phases and see make sure those tasks are seen under each respective phase? 3. So I'm looking for a way I can keep track of all the tasks I need to accomplish and thought maybe Evernote could help. It seems I have a couple options. 1) I can make one Notebook called Tasks (or whatever) and then just have one Note called Task List. I could then just list out all the tasks with checkboxes and check them off when I'm done. If I wanted to keep the old ones so I could refer back to them I'd eventually end up with a huge list but could see what I had done, what was next to do, etc. 2) I can make one Notebook called Tasks and then create a separate Note for each Task. I would then probably have to make a second Notebook called Completed Tasks (or something like that) and then I'd have to move them from one notebook to the other when it was done. (or maybe I could just use a "completed" tag when they were done. hmm) I'm just wondering how most people use this and what you've found works better or worse than other solutions. Thanks for any input.
  4. Is it possible to put a podcast or a segment of a podcast into a notebook? When working on a project, it would be a great feature to simply make a note with a podcast that you want to reference to while working on the project. Is this already possible? -Ray
  5. Hello, I noticed that i and many Evernote users create a note for a project, in which we put some sort of summary about the project, links to different documents, sometimes tasks etc. The problem i encounter (and i would guess a lot of others as well) is there is no way to have that note always appear at the top of all other notes. I like to present notes by date (and have them be classified and shown at the top using the category "most recently modified"), and i use tags as project folders. With all this, my main project note quickly gets buried away in the mass of notes i can have in one project. I give it a fake "last modified date" in the future (like 2020) in order for it to appear at the top, but of course, if i modify that note, the date is changed (back to the real date the document was last changed), and soon the note will not appear at the top anymore (as other notes are added to the project). Putting each of those main project notes on the left column as favorites is not a solution for me, as i put there all the tags corresponding to my projects, and control lists (the left column would be far too long). What's more, and don't want to access it faster by using the left column, but i just wish to be able to see my main project note right away when i look at what is in a project (clicking on a tag with the project name). So my question is this : could Evernote build a feature forcing a note to appear at the top of a list ? Thank-you, Shadok (sorry for my bad english, i hope i am clear enough)
  6. Clearly I have been sleeping, or I missed the memo, but several things that seem to occupy Evernote users' minds quite extensively now seem to have solutions waiting for them in Evernote's App Center. They're add-ins and some (all?) of them are paying packages, and I'm not recommending here, because I just installed two of them for a look-see; but if you're into sharing notes that need real-time collaboration and even conference-call discussion, and don't want that nasty "conflicting changes" elf to get in the way, have a look at LiveMinutes (they're under Web Apps - free for the rest of this year too) Or if you like Mind Maps (Me, me..) there's ConceptDraw Office which has an Evernote integration - apparently... The Apps pages are a resource I just opened like an early Christmas Present - there's other stuff in there that looks very interesting, but I do have to get some work done sometime. I've been a bit busy this year so far and clearly haven't been keeping up - apologies if this is old news; but before you do the standard (and boring) "the only thing stopping me giving you some money is" post for some missing feature that you didn't find in Evernote - check out the Apps pages! You never know, your Golden Feature could be there waiting for you!
  7. Im looking for a way to format my projects notes. I like to work quick and therefore i work dirty. This means i randomly make screenshots, copy and paste text form everywhere and pull information from everywhere. This will lead to a monster of a notebook. There is small photo, and really big images, text has still the format it came in will i copied it. So now i want to go in and prettify the note up rearrange photo's, get articles in place, just make it a easy note to read through and present it to a client. Does someone has tips on this? A not is basic HTML right, so isnt there a way to automate it. I like context boosters way of organizing its generated notes. Articles are in columns on top, photos are in a separated box, links all have the same color.
