  1. Please make it able to code view .... Evernote is the best note taking app ever .. but i can't use it with out code viewing .
  2. Is there a way to add code such as $>this code block right here it would be super useful since I store my programming notes in here. I don't want to change the font size and indent everytime. If this isn't available please add this on. I know many others would benefit. Also, if you guys could team up with Beaker Notebook since they have the coding version of this. If you could collaborate with them it would be HUGE!
  3. If you are looking a pull request on bitbucket and you click the side-by-side diff button then Google Chrome freezes for a long time. (If I leave it be, it usually comes up. If I try to reload the chrome tab the page freezes and eventually the tab crashes.) If I disable the Evernote Web Clipper extension those problems go away. Has anyone else run into this? I would love to know of a workaround aside from disabling the Evernote Web Clipper every time I review a bitbucket diff and need to see a side by side view. By the way, this problem started recently, so it may be that bitbucket or Evernote updated their JavaScript and have conflicting JavaScript now, because it used to work fine.
  4. Hi! I create this topic just for C# example of sorting and search algorithms. For your information I'm just a student. I'm from Sweden, so I write in swedish in WriteLine. I hope that you enjoy! static void Main(string[] args) { while (true) { //Creates an Array with value 100 int[] myArray = new int[100]; //Creates randomizer to make random numbers Random randomizer = new Random(); for (int i = 0; i < myArray.Length; i++) { myArray = randomizer.Next(1000); } //May choose among various sorting algorithms for sorting number (for example Bubble sort) SelectionSort(myArray); //Makes it "fancier" Console.Write("{ "); for (int i = 0; i < myArray.Length; i++) { Console.Write(myArray); if (i < myArray.Length - 1) { Console.Write(", "); } } Console.Write(" }\n"); Console.Write("Mata in talet som du vill hitta: "); int searchNumber = int.Parse(Console.ReadLine()); //Choose between Linear and Binary search: int pos = LinearSearch(searchNumber, myArray); if (pos == -1) { Console.ForegroundColor = ConsoleColor.Red; Console.WriteLine("Talet finns inte.\nTryck 'ENTER' för att försöka igen."); } else { Console.ForegroundColor = ConsoleColor.Cyan; Console.WriteLine("Talet finns på position: "+ pos); } Console.ReadLine(); } } //Here is four methods for example (two sorting and two search algorithms) private static void SelectionSort(int[] myArray) { //Going through all non-sorted elements and find the smallest for (int i = 0; i < myArray.Length; i++) { //Assume that the first unsorted position contains the smallest value int minPos = i; for (int j = i; j < i; j++) { //If we find a smaller element, update minPos if (myArray[j] < myArray[minPos]) { minPos = j; } } //byt plats int tmp = myArray; myArray = myArray[minPos]; myArray[minPos] = tmp; } } private static void BubbleSort(int[] myArray) { for (int i = myArray.Length - 1; i > 0; i--) { for (int j = 0; j < i; j++) { if (myArray[j] > myArray[j + 1]) { int tmp = myArray[j]; myArray[j] = myArray[j + 1]; myArray[j + 1] = tmp; } } } } private static int BinarySearch(int searchNumber, int[] myArray) { int min = 0; int max = myArray.Length - 1; while (min < max) { int mid = (min + max) / 2; if (searchNumber == myArray[mid]) { return mid; } else if (searchNumber < myArray[mid]) { max = mid - 1; } else { min = mid + 1; } } return -1; } private static int LinearSearch(int searchNumber, int[] searchArray) { int position = -1; for (int i = 0; i < searchArray.Length; i++) { if (searchNumber == searchArray) { position = i; break; } } return position; }
  5. Hello gang, My relationship with Evernote is a rocky one (three years and counting), and most recently I decided to leave EN entirely to try and seek other solutions within the Google Apps. I learned a lot of cool "tricks" while I was away, but I feel this system too has it's drawbacks, and there's room only for one love-hate relationship in my life.. .So I went back to Evernote. There are a few things I would love to see Evernote doing, but probably won't happen. I decided to check out just how realistic it would be to program Evernote, one way or another, to do what I want it to do. Even if I fail, it would still be an interesting (and useful) introduction into programming. I figured. Here is a quick rundown of things I'd like to work on: Color for the notes in the snippet (not the note itself) window: I love color and I sort by color. Lack of color has been one of my biggest issues. Additional hot keys in web view for Evernote, like for inserting a picture, inserting a link, etc. Offline storage for Evernote - so the site can read notes that are saved offline vie the web app. Dynamic Google Drive/Dropbox - Evernote integration: so when I change a document on Google Drive, it changes on Evernote. This should also work with attachments, so the latest attachment is replacing the old one.How hard would these be to do? What is your general consensus about this? From experience, and if you have trick to achieve the above, please let me know!
  6. I've been using EN quite a while. Sometimes it drives me crazy, please help resolve the problem. Issue: when I'm copying formatted and colored text from any html page or from Word, Visual Studio to Evernote, sometimes Evernote pasting the text and it has all original colors in it, sometimes I just can't do it. For example: today I've copied some code from Visual Studio to Evernote and I got perfect colors: Then I thought: "Hm... what if I choose red color for text in Evernote (Button "A"), write something and then try to paste THE SAME text from Visual Studio." Since then when pasting there are no colors. I've tried making new note, choose different color in this "A" color button, reopen Evernote. Nothing helps! The text is just plain black after pasting. Doesn't matter what settings, what text Tried CTRL + Space(Simplify Formatting) - won't do. So the question is: I just want the colors when pasting text to Evernote. I know Evernote copies not only text, but its formatting too (from browser for example), but sometimes it just won't work and I can't do anything. What should I do? Please reply. Evernote version 4.5.4.6497 (235205) Public. XP SP3.
