  1. Hi, I feel this might just be an echo of what has already been said before, but I've recently started using Evernote again and having paid for Evernote Plus I wanted to share my point. I understand there's been lot of chat about the changes to the Basic tier etc and I appreciate where those opinions come from. I choose to pay for Plus before these changes came about, my reasons were mainly for the extra capacity and also because I understand that if a product is to survive it needs paying customers and I like EN so happy to pay to use it. One thing however that frustrates me is that even though I have paid a subscription, there's still confusion about what features I can and cannot use, getting constant offers to trial Premium features. Also that button on the left on the Mac client telling me to Go Premium annoys me. Just keep your pricing simple. Of course have a Evernote Basic but perhaps just have one paid for version (but price it accordingly!). As well as simplifying the pricing structure, keep your product simple and focus on being a great note taking app (I've yet to use Work Chat, but I'm sure there's users that use it regularly).

  6. Hi, I've an email from iTunes saying that Evernote Premium is increasing to £4.99/month: "The price of your 1-month Evernote Premium subscription has increased from £2.99 to £4.99. This increase will only take effect in future subscription periods, and does not affect your current subscription." The UK App Store currently says Evernote Premium is £3.99. The Evernote site says the monthy subscription is £4 Can I have some clarification please. Thanks, Steve UPDATE 14/1/15 No reply from Evernote premium support and my subscription has now expired. If I try to renew my premium subscription via the iOS app I get a further option of £4.49 monthly. WTF is that all about? I now have 4 possible options for montly subscripton - £3.99, £4, £4.49, £4.99? Maybe they need to increase prices to improve their support service, or replace the random number generator that deals with their subscription pricing? P.s. If Evernote are watching, £3.99 is my limit
  7. Hi, Just noticed that Evernote premium monthly pricing was increased from 3.99 EUR to 4.99 EUR in Germany. Would appreciate to know why this was done. Is the 4.99 price an experiment? 3.99 was a really good price point in my opinion but 4.99 is enough to deter me away from a premium subscription, just in case you want to know my opinion. Thanks!
  8. When I select the Upgrade To Premium option from the Mac app, the price is £31.99/year. When I try the same upgrade from the web interface, the price is £35/year. Why the difference? I will also note that the US dollar price, $45, is currently equivalent to £28.83.
  9. We're about to go live with Evernote Business within our company and on the question of pricing, I was asked the question: "Why do we need to pay for everyone to be Business users if we can just have free users that share the business notebooks?" Apart from user functionality and not seeing many employee's going over 60mb. I couldn't think of a decent answer. Can anyone give me the pro's/con's of doing this. For those employee's we think will go over the 60mb limit will become business users, the remainder being free users that join the business notebook. Thanks.
  10. Hi, Till yesterday I was a premium member and didn't automatically prolong my account. Today I found out that in the US one pays $ 40.- for a year, whilst we in The Netherlands have to pay € 40.- though this means a difference of more than $ 12.- (€ 40.- equals $ 52.22, and $ 40.- equals € 30.64) That doesn't seem fair my Evernote friends . And why is it only possible to pay with visa/master card?
  11. I just tried to set up Evernote for my family of four and was told that sponsored groups have been replaced by Evernote Business. I don't know about anyone else, but my family does not need $40/month worth of business accounts. •Premium plan is for individuals •Business plan is for businesses •NO PLAN for groups/families? Why did you let an advancement (like EnB), turn into a regression? I don't need to administer four separate accounts... for my 2 children, my wife and myself. Nor do I want any of us to have to deal with the restrictions of the free plan. My children are homeschooled and will need offline notes. Their iPod Touches and iPads aren't always connected to wifi, I cant rely on a persistent connection for them to complete school work I should have been able to assign through an Evernote group account. Even if I did set up four separate premium accounts with four separate billing plans, I still can't receive the discount that was available for groups of 3 or more. So now I have to pay $20/month for four people, or $180/year. There is no way my kids are going to use $90 to $120 worth of note organizing every year. I wish I had opened a sponsored group account in November of 2012, when I first learned about them (before the creation of their carnivorous EnB plans). Bring back sponsored groups, Evernote! Please!!!
  12. Hello, We've recently decided to utilise Evernote Premium in our Marketing Department. I've installed the premium version via the Mac Appstore on 2 of our machines without any issues and have paid £2.99 to receive the premium services for 1 month. I've come to do the same on a third machine which originally had the web version of Evernote 3.3.0 installed. I've deleted this and downloaded the Mac Appstore version and gone to upgrade. However the pricing is completely different to the other 2 I have just done. Instead of £2.99 a month it's now saying it's £4.00 a month. Some research tells me this is the pricing structure for the Web version of Evernote... Could anyone help me with rectifying this. The app in the Mac Appstore is still advertised as £2.99 a month and, of course, that's what we'd like to pay... Thanks Lucy
