We had a sponsored group running as a pilot with the 50% education discount. We were shut off of that February 2 when (apparently) sponsored groups were discontiuned. So far the only referrals I'm getting are for the Evernote for Business option instead and I cannot discover where any ed discount exists. Has the education discount gone away? If not, how do I move my sponsored group into the new solution. If not, $120/student or teacher/year is a pretty high bar ($60 was already pretty high in my view).

Just so everyone (that reads this stuff) is aware - there's a 40% discount for Basic & Plus users opening their account to upgrade to Premium for the next few weeks. Existing Premium and Business users need not apply (unless you're starting a separate new account... I guess.) Full details here https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001861647-Limited-Time-40-Off-Evernote-Premium-Offer And thanks to Heather Wilde's Evernote Daily News (31 August) for alerting me. EDIT: I took out "or renewing" from the first sentence - my bad; sorry...

I use Evernote mainly for Notes, and it's great, it helps me at least on a weekly basis, but mainly because I'm lazy, I could easily use Google or any other cloud service and make notes in files, save them in orderly arranged folders, copy-paste them into emails when I need to share soemething etc. Evernote makes it a little bit easier. (Lazy) I am an employee, so I don´t have a budget for app purchase, so any apps I purchase for my work, I get the pleasure of paying for on my own, and my typical Year I pay something like 50-100 USD via the app store for work related stuff, in total. I was copying some notes out of a Shared notebook I belonged to, saw a "getting close to monthly quota message and clicked on. Of course it advised my to upgrade to Premium, which I can't do at the moment, but clicked in it anyone just to see if the price had changed. Sure enough, it is now $59.00USD. Again with the zero notice. Would an announcent on the EN blog have been that hard?

I must repeat, why is Evernote support so terrible? It would seem they are literally running AWAY from customers and their suggestions. It use to be VERY easy to send them a quick email. Now their site makes it very hard to find how to send them an email. Second thing. I've been asking since 2003 for them to add a better audio recording experience on Android. Since recent OS updates, this is more than possible and other apps have proved that. The current implementation is terrible and a few steps behind it's iOS sister. We can't: Multitask while recordingRecord in better quality, only

There is a great article (here) that compares revenues from company first party apps to apps built by third party developers using the company API - for the Evernote app ecosystem. But I could not find any documentation on the Evernote Developer Portal on the revenue model that Evernote use with 3rd party developers using the company API. How does Evernote gain revenue from 3rd party apps built using the Evernote APIs?
