  1. I have a lot of notebooks, and In each notebook, I have a lot of notes. But in some notebooks, I have some important note and need update them every day. So I want to pin them to the top of the note list when opening a notebook. Currently, I use reminder feature to keep a note on top. Thanks.
  2. I am wondering if a Pinned Notes on a Notebook is already in effect, or implemented. "IF NOT" then I hope something as easy as this one could be implemented - The benefit of this feature may be on using Notebooks on a Per Project Basis. A Pinned Note may serve as the Project Charter, or Summary which if pinned, will immediately be seen on top of the list.
  3. Hey Evernote Team It would be so great to be able to pin notes to the top of a notebook. For example, I'm a student and I'd love to be able to easily refer to the study guide whenever I'm in my -- for example -- maths notebook. Using shortcuts isn't an option because this will only clutter up and shortcuts and block me from getting to stuff I actually want there. Think Spark's ability to Pin Emails to the top of the page. You got this! Jonathan
  4. Hi I have two suggestions that I believe will make the user experience a little bit better when working on more notes at the same time: First in the future I would like to see a the possibility of pinning a note you are working on inside of the notebook, so it always will be on top. Next I hope to see the possibility of tab like changing between notes, as you sometimes need to switch between two notes placed in two different notebooks. Best regards Mathias
  5. Hi all, I actually got Evernote premium free for one year, and now it's one of my favorite small software tools (not exaggerated :p), but I was wondering: Is it possible to protect the desktop app (WIn 7) with a PIN? Or something similair as on the adroid app? I don't want a password for my windows account, but I do like to have Evernote password protected. If this is not possible via a pin, does any have suggestion on how to do this? Maybe even encrypt the local files using FolderLock or similair? Any suggestions are more then welcome. -Roberto
  6. I'm using Windows 7 and haven't been able to pin Evernote to my taskbar in a while (I think since the upgrade to version 4). I've researched the problem through the forums and have tried all suggestions--both making sure I haven't pinned a shortcut (I haven't--opened from the program file and tried to pin from that icon) and uninstalling and reinstalling. Nothing's helped. When Evernote is open, I get the blank paper sheet default Windows icon instead of the Evernote logo and the right-click menu has Evernote shortcuts (new note, find note, clip screenshot, etc.) and no option to pin to taskbar. Anyone have ideas? I love Evernote and I love my taskbar.
  7. Hello. Feature request. Recently I have been wanting to pin certain notes to a pin board for easier access later. Yes, I understand that you can tag a note and then use that tag later to recall your notes. While that is great I believe a Pin Board feature where you can have all your notes displayed on a board would be awesome and a very useful tool. They could even be displayed in the Card View If this already exists I would appreciate someone directing me where to look. My apologies if this is a duplicate post. Thanks for an awesome product. Later Days, Ronnie Mac
  8. Topics in this forum can be pinned to the top. I think it would be nice if I could pin notes to the top in EverNote5. They could follow the same sorting-scheme as the rest of the notes, but just be sorted first, separately. I realize I can add notes to Shortcuts, but that's *all* of my shortcuts. I'm looking for "shortcuts" that are specific to individual notebooks or stacks. Thoughts? Thanks! Harry.
  9. First, sorry if I duplicated existed topic, but I didn't find anything after quick look. I'm a big fan of Evernote since I started using it years ago. And still I cant get why is it restricted that much for free users? I really think that offline notebooks and a PIN-code protection are the essential things. I cant really say about two-step verification... What people actually should pay for in my opinion is bandwidth, when Evernote servers are actually being used. The leak of above features are forcing me to look for alternatives. Besides, PIN is a feature that exists almost everywhere now. I guess I used premium for about year and I dont really think I will pay for things that are essential anymore (I payed only because of them). Thanks.
  10. When reading the premium options I see that the ability to add a PIN only is available under Android/iOS. As a developer myself I can appreciate how the Evernote team is up to their eyeballs in trying to improve and move the product(s) forward. OTOH, I see a number of differences between the Windows and Android product alone - and I am curious why the behavior of both are not more closer to each other. And yes I appreciate the difference of a "PC with keyboard and mouse and monitor" v. "smartphone with a smaller screen; touch keyboard and totally different UI". The PIN is a perfect example of where this train goes off the tracks. Utterly simple yet not available under Windows? Why? I think I get the bit on the Smartphone - it is a royal PITA to constantly enter logins and passwords (in all alls) and so here we would login ONCE and then forever onward use a simple 4 digit pin for example. What makes Windows so much easier? In my world, at the office I may need an IT person get access to my machine. Right there, they could open up and see all my notes within Evernote as it is always logged in. I want the same thing - both a login/password and the option to add a PIN. I want to be asked for a PIN when I access it. And if it is smart enough (don't know about the Android method) - after a period of time it should re-ask for the PIN. (Or always ask if you close it and later reopen it). I have issues as well with the multiple logins. Apparently, under Android at least, you cannot have multiple accounts YET - developers emailed me to say "future". Frustrating is the word. I like new, bigger better etc - but I think Evernote is really missing the big picture. Unless there is a technological issue preventing it, most features should be available across all platforms - period. It will make the users happier knowing they don't have to do something different or know that "THIS does that" and "THAT does not do THIS yet". It will improve marketing - no more "This works under Windows but not Android/iOS" or as per the PIN - only for iOS/Android. PINs and Multiple logins and the lot - should be similar across the platforms. Yes I can see where a "Camera snapshot" may not work the same way on a PC - but both platforms do allow me to get a image blob and post it in Evernote. I played a game on Android (Word Feud) and saw it was available on iOS. Do they look the same? No - Android looks a lot better actually. But once you remove the graphic qualtiy and the differences in the UI - the game is identical. As well it should be. Thanks & cheers! b
