Hello All, I have only been successful using Evernote 5.8.6(.7519). When it comes to Outlook 2013, and getting the clipper to work, I have given up on current versions of Evernote. 5.8.6's clipper works with Outlook with no problems. However, you will get a conversion failed message if you are clipping a bulk amount of emails, and some of those emails happen to be calendar items. I use Outlook + Evernote together using The Secret Weapon methodology - it's great. But again, the only way to get past this conversion failed error is if you make sure you are not trying to clip any emails with calendar invites/declines/acceptances. Just wanted to share this. Good luck!

Hi, I'm a relatively new Evernote user and only became a member in January 2015. I'm already enjoying the benefits of Evernote to organize the various notes I take, and I'd really like to expand my usage to saving important emails (that I have previously saved in an Outlook .PST file). I have the Microsoft Outlook 2013 add-in and have no problem actually adding the emails to Evernote; however, Evernote appears to remove any carriage returns/line spacing when I would love to use Evernote to storage important emails that I would typically save in my Outlook .PST folder. I have the Microsoft Outlook 2013 Add-In, but every time I add an email to Evernote using it, it seems to remove carriage returns/line spacing from the email thread. It's a rather horrible formatting that makes reading through the email thread difficult because all of the text is jumbled together. For example, the email thread looks like this: Please submit your documentation by Friday, April 3. Thanks, John Doe Administrative Assistant My Company When I add the email to Evernote, it's formatted like this: Please submit your documentation by Friday, April 3. Thanks, John Doe Administrative Assistant My Company Is there any way to make Evernote stop removing extra spacing and/or carriage returns from the email when using the Outlook add-in? If not, I'm going to have to stick with saving my emails in an Outlook .PST file which would be really unfortunate. If it matters, I'm running Microsoft Outlook 2013 (15.0.4701.1000) on Windows 7 (64-bit OS) and using Evernote 5.8.4.6870. Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi I am a noob to evernote. Using Outlook 2013 on Win 7 Version 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Build 7601 I am using Evernote 2014 5.1.1.2334 I can use the evernote icon in outlook to copy mail items to evernote but using the icon in calendaring presents me with the "unexpected error during note creation" (I want to be able to copy outlook calendar entries to google via evernote..) Any ideas on solving this issue ? thx Pete

Hi there, I've got the issue that I'm getting lots of mail with big attachments that increase the size of my mailbox even more then I'd like to. My idea was to save selected attachments to Evernote, delete them in the mail and then leave a link to the attachment in Evernote there. Doing this manually is quite a pain in the ass. Did anyone ever had the same idea and found some good / automatic workflow for that? Thanks in advance! Cheers, Ben

When i installed Office 365 I set up Outlook 2013 and inculded Evernote as an add-in. It works well. Then I log out of Outlook 2013. When I log back in, Evernote isn't there and I have to add it in again. Any ideas? Thank you in advance

Trying to get started using the http://www.thesecretweapon.org/ 's take on GTD + EverNote. I use Outlook 2013 at work, and most of our email is signed (per internal policy) - when I am viewing any such email, I am unable to use the 'Add to Evernote' button that was added to Outlook when I installed EN initially. Little bit of searching didn't turn up anything, is there a fix or workaround for this? (This will likely also crop up on any encrypted emails for those who have some; I won't be adding those to EN) Thanks in advance for any and all help!

I installed Outlook 2013 on two computers yesterday. Both of them automatically disabled the Evernote add-in, saying it causes Outlook to crash. I tried reinstalling Evernote. Same thing. Outlook immediately hangs. Any other experiences with this?
