In context of the last DDoS attack: if someone logged out and want to log in (in Evernote Desktop) to read at least the notes in the database or his local notebooks, but there is no connection to the Evernote servers to check his password - what to do?
Hi everyone, I'm a new Evernote user. This is the first problem I've had. Sometimes when I try to clip certain pages, the clipper will clip but gets stuck during the sync. This appears to break my whole evernote system - my desktop program and andriod app can't sync ("Last sync failed [time]. Network error"), my web evernote crashes (the app is currently unreachable), and I can't clip any more pages. Eventually (after 10+ minutes), or if I restart my computer, it all starts working again, but the original page that caused the problem isn't saved. Other pages clip and sync normally. This started last night (6/10/14) I'm on Windows 7, Chrome 35.0.1916.153, Clipper 6.1.3. I've already tried reinstalling the web clipper and my desktop client. Thanks for the help.
The Evernote Service was evidently down for sometime earlier this evening. Attempt to sync resulted in an error msg of "unable to contact evernote server" even though all other Internet access was fine, including www.evernote.com. Status.Evernote.com was unresponsive Service is now back up, but the outage was NOT reported in Status.Evernote.com.
