  1. I would like to use Evernote to create checklists and project plans. Being able to have nested/indented checkboxes and nested/indented numbering would be ideal. For example, allowing numbering at all levels, e.g.: 1. a. b. 2. ...etc... Allowing checkboxes to be indented would be very useful as well For example, with [] substituting for the Evernote checkbox: [] [] [] [] I think this functionality could be easily implemented. Obviously full outlining functionality, as popularly requested in another thread here, would be ideal, but this functionality is simple and would suffice in the meantime. Thanks, Erik
  2. It appears there is a bug having to do with the list indenting. If I create a new bullet list item, I can adjust its indent level to any level I like using the indent buttons or using tab and shift-tab. However, if I try to do this on a list item that was automatically created by pressing enter (for instance, any list item after the first) then I am restricted such that I cannot bring the indent level back any farther than where I started. So...if I am adding items to the third indent level of a bulleted list and I want to go back to the second tier to keep adding items there, I have to make a brand new list item. I cannot simply shift the indent over to the left because as soon as I go past the third indent level (the level of the automatically created bullet from the last time I hit enter) my bullet disappears entirely and I am left with an indented, but not bulleted list item. This bug does not appear to happen with numbered lists. This makes it annoying to make bulleted lists at all and at times I find myself avoiding Evernote merely for the convenience of making lists somewhere that works (which turns out is most any other word processing solution, even google docs or a web based email...).
  3. I would like to work with our assistant to jointly develop agendas in Evernote for board meetings, and then once the agendas are finalized, paste the Evernore agenda in Word. The issue is that the default Evernote level 2 numbering is numeric. See approval items 1 & 2 below: Call to Order 6:30 PM Pledge of Allegiance Citizens’ Forum Citizen Commissions and Committee Applications for Appointments. Approvals Approval item 1 Approval item 2 Now, I can copy the above into Word, and change the formatting on level 2 to alpha (a, b, c, ...) and then past back into Evernote as follows: Call to Order 6:30 PM Pledge of Allegiance Citizens’ Forum Citizen Commissions and Committee Applications for Appointments. Approvals Approval item 1 Approval item 2 If I hit return after Approval item 2, I will get a "c." My question is how can I change the level 2 formatting directly in Evernote? I might need to add a level 2 item under another level 1 item, but the only way I can convert the level 2 items from numeric to alfa is to go through Word. Thank you.
  4. I have been using evernote for a few months now and can't figure out a way to adjust the numbering format so that when you select the numbering icon on the tool bar it will automatically switch between numbers and alpha lists as you tab to create subcategories. For example, 1. XXXXXXX a. b. i. Instead everytime I tab it just starts over at 1. which is driving me nuts 1. xxxxxxxxxxxxx 1. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 1. xxxxxxxxxxxxx Is there anyway to fix this? thanks Kelly
  5. Hi, I know you don't comment on time estimates for releasing new features. However, I would be interested in knowing the relative priority of bullet and number indenting in Evernote Android. If it's a feature that's planned to land sometime in the next little while I'll create notes in Evernote Desktop that have bullets with indents. However, if it's not on the horizon, I'll just stick with plain text, indented bullets are a bit tricky to deal with at the moment. Thanks!
