My pitch here is that since we can easily copy note links inside the app, it should also be possible to copy notebook links. Embedding that link in a note or external document should produce a view of all the notes in a specific notebook in exactly the same way that clicking the notebook name from the Notebook view does. I've seen the occasional request for a link to a notebook before. My use case is now project-related. I use software external to Evernote to prompt me when I need to check progress on my latest project - WD3* for example - and while I've experimented with using a 'con

Hello, I've been looking for a solution for this for what seems like an eternity. My problem is that I wanna be able to export a complete notebook to pdf format, which seems to not be possible. I know I can save single notes as pdf documents, but the problem is that when I select all notes and hit the print key it only detects the first note. The preview window doesn't show all the notes, even though they are selected, and that way I can't export the entire notebook. The other option would be to export every note separately, which would be very time-consuming. In the image uploaded

It isn't a new idea, but it is a wishlist item. Please allow us to exclude a notebook from our search with a -notebook type search term. And if that is impossible, then provide a way to tag notes automatically with the notebook name. I need to exclude a notebook from a search. I most always do, multiple times/day. Since I can't do that, all the notes within those notebooks have a tag with the notebook name. I can't type -notebook recipes when searching for an article that appeared in The Onion, but I can sure type -tag:recipes to filter out 2,000 notes. It takes some housekeepi

When you enable the tabbed view inside Evernote, it would be more useful for the tabs to display the name of the specific 'note' you're working on, rather than the name of the Notebook. This is especially useful where you're working on multiple notes within the same notebook (that you've split across various tabs). As in the example below, you can see that both tabs display "All Notes" and "Diary" however its the same case if I was working on two different notes in say the same notebook "Diary" This can get a bit confusing, because if they both display the same name, you have to then clic

Hi, this must have been discussed already, but I could not find it by searching: We have the option to uncheck "Assign selected tags to new notes". I am requesting the similar checkbox option "Assign selected notebook to new notes" (so the feature can be disabled by the user). The original motivation for this request was the bug below, but when/if the bug is fixed, it would still be nice to not have new notes created away from the default notebook without noticing, especially if the notebook accidentally selected is shared, which cannot be modified even with editing privileges,

Currently, all emails I send to my Evernote "Email Notes to" address land in the "Inbox" notebook. I am suggesting to have a separate email address for each notebook, just like Todoist has a separate email for each project. I know, it is possible to route an email into a specific notebook by adding "@notebook_name" to the email subject but in practice, this is inconvenient, time consuming, and error prone. you have to remember to use "@" (instead of "#" as it is in other applications). You have to type the notebook name correctly. You have to click edit subject + navigate to the end of it

Please bring back GRID VIEW for notebooks
white replied to ericwicklund's question in Evernote for Mac Requests (Versions 7.14 and under)
I regret to have downloaded the new version of evernote, as now my notebooks are all organized in a list. This does not give a good overview - one has to scroll down + it is an extremely boring layout. The old book form (the little squares) where better in both aspects (going from left to right, it was possible to see many more notebooks on the screen.) My request is to allow users to choose for themselves if they want list or books (just add an icon next to "your list" => sort by => books (instead of only number of notes, etc., names etc.) , and why in addition (later, afte -
Currently EN only allows sharing at the notebook level. This greatly limits the functionality for those of us who use stacks, because it prevents us from sharing our hierarchical structure, and all context is lost. For instance, let's say I want to share: Project 1 (stack) - Tasks - Notes project 2 (stack) - Tasks - Notes All the users us going to see is four notebooks, two named tasks and two named notes, they won't be able to see which project they are stacked under. All context is lost. And I have to share every single notebook. And before someone tells me

I am a paid user and have many Notebooks. I have notebooks that relate to my hobbies as well as my career. On laptops that I bring to work, I only want my business-related notebooks to replicate. After installing Evernote on a new computer, is there a way to tell it what notebooks I would want on that computer? Thanks!

I'm having a problem sharing a Notebook with my Boss. Both of us have accounts and have shared notebooks before. Today, I shared a Notebook with him. He received the notification and accepted it. But he's not able to open and see any of the notes in the notebook. He tried from Windows, iPhone, and Web. Same result on all of them. When I check the Notebook on my end, it shows it is shared with him. I did notice the notes in the Notebook say they are not shared. If you share a notebook, all of the contents in the notebook are shared as well, correct? Any suggestions? Running Evernot

Hi, In first I want congratulate the Evernote staff for the idea and bring the web application more close to the desktop version. Back to topic , the organization on side bar under notebooks in alphabetical order is not comfortable, specially when using on the desktop version notebooks organized under stack. It takes time to find the right notebook and also with tens of notebooks some names are similar but belong to different topic. Will glad to see improve on that.

My professor is attempting to share a notebook with me but I keep getting the error message "Can't open the notebook. You may need permissions to access this notebook or the owner may have deleted it." Well the owner didn't delete it and my professor already selected permissions to allow me to view and edit the notebook, however, it still won't let me open it. I can't get in touch with customer chat because they're never online. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks! Evernote_6.8.7.6387_20180116.log

How can I order my notebook stacks in the windows desktop app? I've tried renaming the stacks, thinking that they're alphabetical, but the order didn't change. I've tried dragging, but nothing changes about the order. I searched help but found nothing, only about how to sort notes within a notebook. Can't even find anything about how to sort notebooks within a notebook stack.

Hi all, I've come across something that I find weird when using Evernote on Windows... it may just be a 'feature' that I've missed, but it annoys me slightly. When attempting to look at my notebooks, all I get is a list of all my notes (in total). What I think should happen is that I get a list of my notebooks in the same fashion as when you click tags, but for some reason it doesn't seem to want to play ball with me. Did I miss the change/update where you can only create new notebooks, create stacks and rearrange the list from the left side panel? I've added two screen shots,

I've been using Evernote to keep track of my activities related to a LONG period of job searching. I set up one Job Search notebook, within that I have a note entitle Daily Job Search Journal which is a LONG continuous compendium of daily (nearly) activities for the last 4 years. Each day is dated, followed by a bullet list of "spoke with Name with Company regarding an Opportunity in City" and other variants for emails (sent and received), applications submitted, resumes sent, and rejections received. The note is HUGE. The rest of the notebook is full of clipped job descriptions. Does any

Having the ability of a service that allows users to have all of their notes physically in a spiral notebook after typing them. There could be organizing options for tabs/sectioning, and blank page options too for addition.
