  1. Right now I'm torn between using Evernote and Notability. Notability is the best app I've found for using the Apple Pencil and being able to write over / around the text. However, I love the organization of Evernote and being able to tag notes, etc. ***The Request: could Evernote beef up the writing ability to a Notability-esque level?
  2. Has EN updated their PDF handling on iOS at all? I'm trying premium this year to see how it works for me. Since I like using Notability so well for my meeting notes, I created a workflow to append a meeting notes EN note with the PDFs that I export it. I can see my notes inline on PC, but iOS still just shows the attachments when I view on my iPad. If EN doesn't have native support, has anyone figured out any nifty work-arounds? for something similar?
  3. Hello! I was just wondering how you people use Notability and Evernote together. I recently purchased Notability and I found a recipe on IFTTT which enables me to send my notes to EN: https://ifttt.com/recipes/96131-send-notability-pdfs-from-dropbox-to-evernote I was wondering how you guys use it with Evernote. Thanks.
  4. So guys, need your help, im going to college again(nutrition) and i want to be more paperless and efficient, beside that i like studying different kind of subjects, but unfortunately i have to keep printing pdfs for annotation and things like that, i also have a notebook with me for frequent annotations on things i find interesting, or read, saw somewhere. My main question is, which could be the right device for that use, handwriting notes, annotate on pdfs, draw, read ebook and make annotations there(points, arrows, handwritten notes, post its), save web articles for studying, ill use the evernote to keep all of them in the same place, but i need the manual thing on a portable device or ill start to get way too much mechanic and not creative, i like mind maping, drawing, highlighting, colors, for my learning. From what i saw, the ipad pro together with the notability app or the good notes 4 would be a good call(i heard those are good together with the evernote), but im new in this world and i want some suggestions, thats it, i currently have a lg g4, and this would be my first apple device maybe, need help. Edit: I already have a dell notebook for when i need a true desktop.
  5. Guys, Just bought Notability for iPad.... Evernote, I really love you, I was loyal for more than a year and a half. Springpad didn't do this to me.... But NOTABILITY... WOW... Typing, handwriting, pictures embedded, audio recording, colors, flexibility, pdf... And it is soooo intuitively simple... Evernote, please say you have this coming soon: handwriting, handwriting on embedded pictures - it is so useful for meeting notes... Please say you are replacing the evercrashing iPad version with something more than cardex view Guys, iPad has to be your top priority, this is The tool for professionals. Having Notability for a week I have gone COMPLETELY PAPERLESS. It still lacks the Tags system for me to implement GTD as Evernote allows, thats the big minus, but they've promised it's on the design board Guys, I LOVE EVERNOTE and I also love competition. Please, improve, you have to and you can, too! Good luck! Michael
  6. I lot of you guys using notability with evernote should know this trick: Using this IFTTT recipe: THIS which links your notability backup in dropbox to gmail and forward to your evernote. It will appear in your evernote as a pdf which is like the normal pdf you can view in evernote, not a .zip file or just a link, like this: This is under the dropbox sync setting as PDF only. However, if i set to PDF + audio. It will update a .zip file to my evernote. What is the point of syncing if I can't view and hear my notes directly in evernote? The reason I want to use notability is the function of AUDIO NOTES with normal notes taking. This is really important during lectures and conferences. But evernote is important as my second brain to store everything and allows me to review the notes easily. (But it is not efficient for quick notes taking esp. when I need to type and record and take photos at the same time) An integration / automation of the two apps will be great for me. I can make my notes efficiently by notability and archive them in evernote. So..does anyone has a solution????? Please help me :-(
  7. I recently downloaded Notability from AppStore, and I noticed that it's a very powerful tool for note-taking. I wonder, could it be possible to integrate the handwriting Penultimate feature in order to get a fully powered note-taking Evernote app? Typing is so simple, but, for example, I'd usually need to take sketches or handwritten notes because I'm in a hurry.
