  1. Hi everyone, I just started using Evernote on my Android (Version 7.0.3) and I noticed that, when I enable automatic titles of notes, Evernote uses a completely different name than I have entered in my account. It says "Note by Diego @..." (my name is NOT Diego). I do have a coworker named Diego, but we do not work with Evernote at all in our office. So is there any explanation for this? I checked everywhere in the settings but the name Diego does not appear anywhere. Thank you! Malte
  2. Hi there, New to this forum posting thing, but need help. My new Nexus 10 tablet's battery is being drained way too quickly. I check the app, it seems like each time Evernote is the culprit if I don't log completely off. Any suggestions? I don't have this problem with my cell phone, don't know what the difference would be. Thanks
  3. My Samsung Galaxy Nexus has stopped syncing, on the phone I get the error "Last sync failed at 21 Apr 13.58 columns note_guid, tag_guid are not unique" This is the error log below: IsTablet: false Locale: en_GB Service: https://www.evernote.com Package: com.evernote Brand: google Model: Galaxy Nexus Network operator: 23415 / vodafone UK Android version: 4.2.2 Evernote version: 5.0.3 Evernote revision: AndroidMarket_50x_335 Evernote type: public Internal storage: 4 GB / 13 GB External storage: 4 GB / 13 GB SDCardStatus:null Exception: null Date: Thursday, 14 February 2013 Type: Note Guid: 5dbf5f56-6616-47e4-88be-3c25dff686dc Count: 0 Exception: null Date: Sunday, 17 February 2013 Type: Note Guid: 3eb305b5-9d4d-4fb1-aaa0-7d12e6eb09d9 Count: 0 Exception: EDAMUserException(errorCode:DATA_CONFLICT, parameter:Tag.name) Date: Wednesday, 27 March 2013 Type: Tag Guid: 37a6df5f-4829-4c95-b3fb-9b65643d7eb5 Count: 1
  4. When I insert text into a note--not appending to the top, but inserting in an existing note, the screen view of existing text does not move down as I insert returns. So it appears as though I am writing my text right on top of the existing text. When I end edit mode, it rectifies itself and shows it correctly, but it makes it impossible to read as I'm entering info. i have to go into edit mode, put in a bunch of returns, and then end edit, to open up the space, then go back into edit. I do not have this problem with my Droid Maxx phone. It works correctly there. I couldn't find anyone else with this same problem in searching the forum. I'm hoping someone can help me with this. I was hoping to use Evernote extensively with my new Nexus, but this is a big handicap.
  5. I've been using Evernote on my ipad, pc and android phone for about a year. One thing I do quite often is use the photo note feature to take snapshots of documents directly from within the app, using the camera on whatever device I happen to be using at the time. I'm now considering purchasing a Nexus 7 and am aware of it's lack of a back facing camera. I realize that taking using tabs as cameras with isn't considered a primary function for manufacturers and I agree. However, for my purposes (using the camera as more of a scanner), the camera will be sorely missed as a part of my Evernote workflow. So... Has anyone successfully used the front facing nexus 7 camera, meant for Skype and low in megapixels, to capture documents, written notes, etc? I'm sure it's awkward, but is the result acceptable? It's not a deal breaker as I can always reach for my phone to take the pic, but I'm curious. Thanks!
