  1. I would like a view that shows only text that I have highlighted. This 'highlighted text view' should allow me to copy only the highlighted text. I would use this view for an even more concise version of a note. I did search the forum and did not find this suggestion.
  2. Hi, Is it possible to request a feature for your developers to Implement? It would be useful to have a button for a "pop-out" mini-note, that stays above all windows like a virtual "post it". Is this possible?
  3. Hi Evernote Team, First of all I love Evernote, and that's why I want it to keep getting better and better. I am now using a Surface Pro 4 and of course the Evernote desktop client works great however, the Surface has the Surface pen and for me in my profession (Architect) it comes in very handy. BUT Evernote desktop client does not have the pen/drawing functionality that exists on the mobile application, and for me that's a real shame. Please see if you would be willing to add in that feature. Thank you Alexandre
  4. I'd like to be able to add a location to an item in a to-do list. for instance, right now, I need to make a key for my daughter so she can get into our new house. I have it in my to-do list and I forget. It's not the type of thing I want to make a special trip to the home improvement store for, so it would be cool if the Evernote app could alert me when I go to Lowe's home improvement store that I am supposed to make a key. Yes, I know, I can make a shopping list for various stores, and that's what I'm going to start doing. But then I end up with bunches of lists. Wouldn't it be cool to add a tickler alert to a to-do list that you are out of coffee and tag it with the supermarket you frequent so it reminds you once there? You could even allow multiple location tags per list item or list. So if there are three supermarkets that I frequent, I could tag the "Buy coffee" to-do item with all three of the stores that I am likely to visit during the week.
  5. A keyboard shortcut or button that would take me to the top of my list of notes seems like a no brainer feature that appears to be missing. As the number of years I have been using Evernote increases, so does the number of notes. Search can help me find the piece of information I am looking for, but if that note is months (or years) old within a notebook (or in "all notes" view), the only way to move chronologically forward in my notes (to get back to realtime/current history) is to use the scroll bar --- and that is a tedious and clumsy process. I would love to have a key board shortcut or button that takes me to the top of the list of notes.
  6. Please give us the ability to reorder lists via drag and drop and let them keep their indenting and formatting. I love this product but hate it when I have to update a todo list or any kind of list. I'm a premium user and it is well worth the price but I would really like to see this feature. If a comparable note manager came along with this ability I would take a long hard look at switching. Thank you. Dave.
  7. First, I really love Evernote. I hope everyone do agree with me. So I have very high expectancy about new features. I really wish I can make diagrams with Evernote. You know, like mind map or logic tree. All those creative thinking tools or strategic planning tools. Do you think this will make Evernote too heavy? I think this will match pretty well with Evernote. Well, It just a wish lol
  8. Just an idea: As I clip articles to send to EN, I have to manually curate tags. Would be nice if authors chose key tags and they auto-imported with clipping into EN.
  9. Other similar products, likes: One Note (Microsoft), allow user create group of notes in a given notebook. With evernote you can use tags or notebooks. In my opinion it is sometimes restricted. Because tags are globally, there is no way to define a tag for a given notebook only, this would allow to have some notes grouped by a given tag. The solution I am using is to prefix on the title the category or group, for example: Meeting| Meeting subject, Client| topic, for example, but it is a manual solution (workaround). Are you planning to consider any additional level of organization? Thanks in advance, David
  10. When searching a word of phrase (Ctrl-F), that these automatically become tags in each of the results. :-) Smart eh? (I hope I'm posting in the right discussion, that I'm not double posting. If not, let me know where I should post this). Thanks in advance for listening. Long Live Evernote.
  11. Hi there, i have looked around on the website and couldn't find a 'wish list' or something similar, so i just put it here, please remove it if it's not appropriate. i m wondering if evernote can provide wiki features, the most useful feature would be the Wikiwiki linking system. I used to be a TomBoy Notes user, when i switched to EverNote, the thing i struggled the most is about this. Currently Evernote has very good tagging, and the notebook + stack makes it easier to manage the notes, but all notes are standalone, wiki linking would connect them together, it'll be perfect for the user write notes for brain storming, referencing notes etc. i bet you guys know more than i do. i guess if there's a wiki linking function, it would be a pay service(well, i hope it's free of charge), but i would say it's worth it and i'll definitely spend that money. Thank your guys for providing such a great tool to help me with my bad memory, keep moving ahead, you are really creating something that is fantastic! Btw, just wondering if there's going to be a Linux version Evernote, i've tried NixNote as an alternative, but honestly i don't like it, i m using the web now. it'll be great if there can be a Ubuntu version.
  12. Hey Evernote! It would be really amazing to see a feature set or some integration with a tool like LayerVault. Please take a look at it if you haven't. https://layervault.com/ http://layervault.tumblr.com/ Check out the "Iterate" podcast # 61 wherein Allan Crinshtein is interviewed RE: LayerVault, the business and et al. Cheers, Mike
  13. Just something to think about... What if we could create new notebooks from the outlook plug in. Currently, the plug-in's GUI allows us to select a notebook from the drop down list. Sometimes, I want to create a new notebook for the information I am sending through the Outlook Plug-in.
