Frequently, after doing a search or some other activity in EN for Windows I find that I am somewhere in the middle of a long list of notes. I want to move to the top of the notes to my most recents, but I can't seem to figure out how to do that quickly. If I click on the column headings to sort by when created or updated, I'm stick stuck somewhere in my notes list, and I have thousands. To get back to the top I find myself having to tediously scroll or drag the note bar to get to the top which takes time. In the past I never seem to have this problem (or just didn't notice it), but lately it h

Konichiwa, Evernote Community. Pleased to see you. Let's get into it. Keyboard navigation. What are your favourite hacks and workflows and keyboard shortcuts in Evernote? I am currently seeking the keyboard shortcut to tab around the note space. For example, when I open a new note (^⌥⌘-N) it drops me into the main note taking space. But without touching the trackpad, how to I edit notebook and tags? Inquisitive minds would like to know!

Whenever we click a link system asks a permission that you are navigating out of evernote. Do you want to continue ? I do not want that warning message, its just wastage of time. If i have clicked on link obviously i want to go there. There should be a way to switch it off

When you are using creating tables in a note on mac and you are trying to navigate to input cells, it only goes left to right (as in up_key=left down_key=right). Instead it would make usability better if you could use the Excel style of inputing, as in Left/Right/Up/Down navigation with arrow keys Tab to go to next column's cell Enter to go to next row's cell

For some reason (other than old age!), I've had the hardest time learning the keyboard shortcut keys in the Evernote Windows program for moving among the Left Panel, the Note List , and the current note I'm editing. It's annoying to have to use the mouse for all that. I had all the information in a list-of-all-the-shortcuts note buried in a Using Evernote notebook that I'd created. But I wanted faster access. So I created a note whose first line (and therefore title) was "TAB: Left<>Search<>List<>Title". In the body of the note, I expanded on this with some instructions:

When I'm typing a note, the cursor keeps jumping to the leading edge of the note's title. I'm not sure what keystroke or combination thereof I am using. Is there a setting I can change this navigation "feature"?

Hello. I've noticed some problems with navigation in the Windows version. 1. Navigation with Notebook links Following links to notes and then using the navigation buttons does not work For example, I select a bunch of new notes and create a Table Of Content (TOC). Click the first note, go back, click the second note, go back. Boom. I am not in TOC. 2. Navigation in Presentation mode a: Between multiple notes Creating this TOC came about as a workaround for loosing navigation between notes in presentation-mode. Typically I would have notes on a project I'm working on in a project no

I use Evernote to scout photography locations. It's incredibly helpful, but there is a serious limitation to "Places" and mapping data in Evernote, you cannot navigate to a point of interest. Evernote does not have navigation tools (such as offline maps and turn by turn directions). That would be no problem with a simple fix: This could easily be overcome if the map pin would allow the user to "open in" a mapping app such as Google Maps. Even just displaying/copying the latitude and longitude would be a significant improvement (which could be used with apps like GPS Tracks to find you
