I love Evernote, but on the mobile app - PLEASE move the indent and outdent buttons to somewhere directly and easily accessible from the typing keyboard. Creating an outline or taking notes in outline form is a HUGE pain when you always have to access the indent button from a secondary menu. Bullet point and numbered list formatting on a secondary menu are fine because you usually choose them and go with it for a while. When outlining you may be changing the indent or outdent after every sentence and going to a secondary menu after every sentence is a pain and highly inefficient. See attached pdfs. I have loved using Evernote for several years now. It's been the only organizational tool that helps me keep track of all my writing, notes, etc. But as I have discovered, you can slip into the Internet using both an iPhone or iPad (multiple iOS versions) even with Safari disabled. This was discussed in the link below over three years ago. I need Evernote to keep my life moving forward and unfiltered Internet is not a part of that plan. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE add the ability SOMEWHERE to disable this feature, even if it is a parental control within Evernote mobile. Until then I have deleted your app, which makes me very sad and more forgetful.
I'm trying to organize my notes hierarchically. First I tried with nested folders but it's not possible to do so as Evernote only allows one sub-folder level. After doing a search the answer people gave was to use tags as they are possible to nest this way. Great I thought, then I opened my mobile app, then I discover that it's not possible to get a hierarchical view of your tags on mobile the way you do in the desktop app. You only see Notebooks and their folder structure, you also can only set Notebooks to offline view not a tag. So the question is, how do I get a hierarchical structure and overview on to work on both desktop and mobile?
Hi, I had encountered a weird situation today. Long back I deleted some notes which were sitting in "Trash" notebook. Today on my mobile app, I was trying to pull it out from the trash folder. But, surprisingly I didnt find that one in my mobile app. Am I missing anything? Thank you, Kishore.
