  1. I would like to make the following feature request, the ability to view and edit the Evernote markup of a note. As you can see from the attached example, I was recently doing some research on Node.js and storing that information within Evernote. When I copy and paste information from various sources, I find indentation and other formatting can be hard to re-format. In the attached example, you can see this with the first code snippet which is indented. I had no way to adjust this indenting, even though the rest of the formatting looked great. Another example can be seen in the white on grey reversed text. I could not find a way in Evernote to remove this grey background and easily reformat this text. Of course, I could have pasted this is with "Paste and Match Style" but I wanted to retain most of the look (as in the code examples) but just apply some tweaking. As an alternative, maybe you could consider an option we see in applications such as Microsoft Word, which allow Copy Formatting via a paintbrush style tool. This formatting can then be applied to other areas of the document? Thank you for the consideration of this feature request. I am a huge Evernote fan as Premium subscriber. I would love to do a testimonial for you if that would ever be appropriate. All the best, Greg Paskal
  2. I would like to be able to annotate/markup a pdf (or pic, too) in a note AND edit the note simultaneously. Example: I'm annotating pdf in the Evernote pdf tool, yet when I click back on the note to type something there *while* editing the pdf I lose the pdf being open, so I have to reopen, find my place, continue reading/annotating. Currently, the 2 workarounds I've found, which are quite time consuming: A. New Pdf (1) open PDF on computer, (2) edit with computers PDF editor, (3) save markups/highlights/notes/etc as a new PDF on desktop, (4) add edited PDF to note, (5) delete original PDF from note, (6) delete PDF from desktop... phew! B. useWord MS (1) open PDF in Evernote editor, (2) open a blank word doc, (3) edit PDF in Evernote, take notes on word doc, (4) save PDF changes, (5) cut & past word doc text to note, (6) spend next 30min reformatting all outlines and bullets that "blow up" cutting & pasting from MSWord into Evernote... phew!! Please add this feature? 8-) Love Evernote-- love the team behind it. Thanks for all your hard work! What you do is helping me better organize and complete my PhD research... thank you!!!
  3. I have created a form with WordPress Contact Form 7 to create journaling entries in Evernote, which work like a charm except for the lack of formatting of the text. I would love some guide on how emails should be formatted so that In can create basic formatting like bold text.
  4. It would be great to have a feature to allow quicker markup. Current state - when I want to make some word in text bold 1. double click the word(s) 2. hit command/ctrl + b Desired state - when I want to make some word in text bold 1. turn on "bold markup tool/icon" 2. any word that gets clicked on by cursor is changed to bold Similar thing can be applied to highlight/colored font/italics/others. I am so missing this as I make my "presentation/speech/seminar" notes very colorful & markup rich. It is always a little pain...
  5. Hi, I've been using Evernote on a MAC and iOS device but recently started using it on Android with a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet. I'd like to be able to annotate PDFs and images that are in Evernote using the Galaxy's S-Pen. I see that Skitch seemed to be the way to do this before, but it's being end-of-lifed. How is this done now? Thanks in advance for any and all help, Mike
  6. Please add the ability to type on the path of an arrow and shape. Allowing the text to be attached to the arrow and shapes in scale and color.
  7. The markup feature that is available in Evernote, doesn't work for me, as I want to write comments in the documents I review. It would be great if it was possible to select a document in a note, click a 'Markup with Penultimate' button, have the document open in Penultimate (as pdf?), make my comments, and then save the pdf with comments back to the original (or new if the user so wishes) note in Evernote. That would enhance my productivity enormously! Cheers, Mark de Vries
  8. In the evernote app on ios7 (fully updated), when I go to save any markup created on the PDF (by clicking 'save') the entire app crashes/quits and all markup is lost. Just one in a long series of problems I've been having with skitch markup, pdfs and evernote on ios7 and Mac. The markup functionality is now rendered moot and useless as it sporadically does not work, does not save, does not display, or forces the entire program to stop working.
  9. I would like to be able to edit a note from Evernote in Penultimate on an IPAD and keep the Evernote formatting for tables, indents etc. An example would be Create a meeting agenda in Evernote on a PC. Sync the PC with my IPad. Import the note into Penultimate. Use a pen/stylist to take notes on the agenda. Presently this is done on a paper copy. Export not back to Evernote with the markups. While saving the text and formatting from the original notes. This can be done using PDF files in Adobe, Nitro and Foxit using the mouse.
