I was monitoring my gpu while using the desktop app in windows 10 and low an behold I found a cryptocurrency miner running under your name! I reread your eula and nothing in it stated this. Not cool. So either you installed this without my permission or someone hacked this into your code. I have traced this to your base installation and not any addons as it runs on three different test systems isolated to clean installs. I highly recommend you remove this immediately.

Recently a scan alerted me that an Evernote file was being flagged as malicious by AV vendor Bkav If you upload the file /Applications/Evernote.app/Contents/MacOS/Evernote to Virus Total, you can see the one vendor flagging it as VEX9803.Webshell (see attached) I tried this with both my own version of the file, and a fresh download of the app, and both have the same hash / report. Would be helpful for Evernote to check with that vendor to see if they have a false positive that needs to be addressed.

Something was wrong with my Evernote and decided to reinstall. Downloaded from the official page at https://evernote.com/download/ and upon dragging the app to the Applications folder, AVG Antivirus gave me a warning (screenshot attached). It doesn't seem right, to have the file from the official site have viruses (if this even is one). Could it be something else in my laptop? AVG itself? Help will be appreciated.
