  1. Greetings, I'm running Lotus Notes 8.5 on Windows. There is a feature which allows you to use widgets with Notes and if possible I'd like to find an Evernote widget/gadget so I can quickly send messages (emails) from Notes into EN. I'm going an an IBM board to try to find a widget catalog but has anyone else integrated an EN widget with Notes 8.5? Thanks
  2. Hi, When I forward emails containing attachmetns, such as PDF, PPT, XLS, DOC etc from my Lotus Notes client to evernote, the attachments are either not recognised and not indexed. So If a lotus nots email containing a ppt doc as an example has contents of the phrase "This is a power point attachment forwarded from Lotus Notes" and that email is forwarded to evernote with the attachment, the properties of that note in evernote will show "no attachment" or no attachments to index. IF I search for the ppt contents, the note is not returned. Is anyone seeing this behaviour? Latest version of Evernote and any version of Lotus Notes Client. I can reproduce this problem easily thanks
  3. Hi all, I am using Evernote 5.0.3.1614 on Windows 7 and Lotus Notes as mail client. I need to copy/paste Lotus mails into EN notes by keeping graphical formatting (images, tables etc). With CTRL-C in Lotus Notes and CTRL-V into EN notes, it does not work: it only copies a piece of the mail. However, when doing CTRL-C from Lotus and CTRL-V in Word the whole mail is correctly pasted. Moreover, if I copy with CTRL-C from Word then to EN with CTRL-V the notes is created with correct graphical formatting as well. Going through Word each time I want to copy/paste a mail sounds quite painful so I would like to find another simpler way to do so. Any idea? Btw, I cannot just forward my Lotus mails to EN using my EN mail address since I am using a local notebook (I cannot send my mails information through Evernote cloud because of my company policy). That's why I am using copy/pasting solution here... Thanks in advance for your help!
  4. Please don't laugh, my company still uses Lotus Notes. I'm looking for advice regarding emailing notes created in EN. I often email notes that I've taken in EN, and the email feature works well, however for some notes I'd like to send it from my work mail program Lotus Notes. For text notes, cut, copy and paste works just fine, however that does not work if the note contains a picture. Two questions 1) Is there some trick to copying and pasting a note that contains an embedded picture? 2) Is there a way to set Lotus Notes as my default mail program, so when selecting to email a note, that note will appear as a new email in Lotus? Any suggestions or pointers is greatly appreciated Regards Tom
  5. Hello all, I noticed a fellow user of Evernote could copy his emails directly into ENote using a button integrated into an Outlook toolbar (plugin?). Awesomely useful button, which avoids sending an email and allowing you to place the note in a given notebook. Does something like this exist for Lotus Notes? thanks, Mike
