Hey, are these the local files of EverNote? And I should always backup the Database folder, right? And suppose I format the PC, I want to import the notes from those files so I checked the import option in EverNote and it asks me to point to .enex files but I only see .exb files there? Can anyone please clear this for me?
Hi, I clicked on a link in one of my notes to open a local file on my computer and accidentally clicked "cancel" instead of "ok" after checking the box "don't ask me this question again" (it asked if I was sure I wanted to open links to local files). Now when I click on a link in one of my notes, nothing happens. I've looked all through the settings and searched in the online help forums and can't find anything about how to undo what I did. Any suggestions? Thanks, Christina
I was using evernote on my laptop and on my desktop using a ScanSnap S510 that I would share with the two computers. My evernote contains a few offline folders. I want to be certain that I can move all the local files from the laptop to desktop and that Evernote on the desktop will still recognize the moved local files. Stop using the laptop except for viewing. The desktop will be the primary source for adding scans. What are the steps to make this go well? Thank you in advance for your time and experience.
when I make a notebook local since I do not want some info on the web(certain personal data), does that data sit in a different database on my local computer than the database records that I have sync'd with my evernote cloud database. Can anyone explain how this all works please... thank you.
