  1. I have been using Evernote to document some software development courses and for some time have been able to copy Javascript code directly from Visual Studio Code into the Evernote web application (not the Mac OS X client app). For months I would copy and paste code snippets directly from Visual Studio IDE into an Evernote note, and the result would look exactly like this: At some point in the past couple of weeks, something changed on the Evernote Web App. Now all of my notes containing copy and pasted sections of code suddenly look like this: AND I can no longer copy and paste directly from Visual Studio Code, as it results in this: Did some update to the Web Application break this?
  2. I'd like for Evernote to be better at supporting code. In other apps like Slack, putting text `in between these quotes` will automatically format the text to be like code. I'd also LOVE for there to be a custom keyboard shortcut that will allow highlighted text to be formatted like code, even if it's just to change the font face.
  3. I want to run Chrome with java script permitted only by white list. I've noticed that the Web Clipper extension no longer works when I do this, and I'm wondering how to white-list the extension in Chrome to permit it to run as intended. Any ideas?
  5. Hello All! While I know Evernote isn't tailored for coders, I've tried to set up my EN styling to help. For instance, I use a mono-space font as default this way when I paste in code, things will look readable (or familiar, at least). I use Sublime as my editor of choice, like many other programmers, and Sublime will colorize your code as you type to help visualize what's going on. While I don't expect EN to do something like this, I was wondering if there was a script or some add-on that could accomplish this. Here would be the workflow: Paste code into a new note Select the code (or portion of text) you'd like to colorize Run script or add-on The selected code is now colorized as in Sublime and other text editorsDoes something like this exist? Is it possible to create this in the EN universe? Not really sure of what can and can't be done here in EN land, but I'd sure like to find out! I've attached a screenshot of the colorization in Sublime for a visual reference. Thanks for any tips and constructive comments!
過去のEvernote開発フォーラムで下記 の通り類似の質問があり、提示された解決策の通り、該当部分を if (loc.indexOf(app.evernoteHostName + '/gotOAuth.html?') >= 0) と置き換えたのですが、それでもトークンが取得できません。過去の開発フォーラムでは、iosのバージョンアップに伴う挙動の変更が原因ではないか、と推測されています。 もし、解決策等ご存じの方がいらっしゃったら、ご多忙のところ誠に恐縮ですが、共有いただくことはできないでしょうか。 よろしくお願い申し上げます。
  7. We discovered that our e-commerce web application (https://kauppa.saunalahti.fi) doesn't work when the Evernote Clipper extension is enabled in Chrome (tested on OSX). In the developer log, you can see at least three different kinds of Javascript errors, randomly when you refresh the page. 1) an object is not "instanceof" EventStream while it should be 2) ga (google analytics) is not defined 3) Bacon.$ doesn't have the method lazyAjax We debugged this on an unminified version of the application and 1) the object does seem like an EventStream object but the instanceof check fails. 3) The lazyAjax and many other methods are missing from Bacon.$ Without Evernote Clipper the application works just fine. Any ideas what could be causing this? Does the clipper do something really nasty? You should be able to reproduce this just by going to the site with Chrome and Clipper.
  8. こんにちは、JavaScript SDKを使用していて原因不明の例外発生が起きています。 node.jsを使ったサービスの開発を行っていますが、本番環境において、一部のユーザの利用時に次のようなエラーが発生していてサービスに支障が出ている状況です。 rl.js:107 throw new TypeError("Parameter 'url' must be a string, not " + typeof url) ^TypeError: Parameter 'url' must be a string, not object at Url.parse (url.js:107:11) at Object.urlParse [as parse] (url.js:101:5) at send (/home/ubuntu/pediamo/node_modules/evernote/evernote-sdk-js/thrift/lib/node/thrift-node-binary.js:96:20) at Object.NoteStoreClient.findNotesMetadata (evalmachine.<anonymous>:15347:8) at /home/ubuntu/pediamo/node_modules/evernote/evernote-sdk-js/evernote/node/client.js:167:17 at /home/ubuntu/pediamo/node_modules/evernote/evernote-sdk-js/evernote/node/client.js:187:5 at /home/ubuntu/pediamo/node_modules/evernote/evernote-sdk-js/evernote/node/client.js:77:9 at IncomingMessage.<anonymous> (/home/ubuntu/pediamo/node_modules/evernote/evernote-sdk-js/thrift/lib/node/thrift-node-binary.js:123:11) at IncomingMessage.EventEmitter.emit (events.js:117:20) at _stream_readable.js:910:16 at process._tickCallback (node.js:415:13) 呼び出している関数は、findNotesMetadata()になります。sandbox環境で起きたことがなく、本番環境で海外ユーザからのアクセス時にだけ起きている感じでテストが行いにくく苦労しています。 何か情報がありましたらよろしくお願いいたします。
  9. Using EV client version 3.1.0,1225 (yes, I know - it's ancient, but it works for me...), with WIN-XP SP3 -32 bit. When I read a PDF stored as an EV Note, EV pops up an info window, saying it's using the FOXIT PDF Reader inside EV, to render the PDF. That's OK... But what if the PDF (stored and rendered inside EV), contains an embeded, malicious JS script, and the JS script gets executed by the EV Foxit Reader? For my local PDF files (in my HD), I read PDF files with Sumatra PDF Reader or PDF-Xchange Reader, both with JS script execution TURNED OFF... Question: ======== Does EVs Foxit Reader have JS script execution TURNED OFF ? (while rendering a PDF file INSIDE the EV client version 3.1.0,1225). If it is not turned off, that would be a HUGE security risk in PDF rendering inside Evernote!. Is this a Security Risk? Thanks for any opinions or facts.

  11. I use Moodle for online teaching, and after upgrading to Safari 6 (as part of my Mountain Lion upgrade) I found that I could no longer upload files to create download links for my students. I started receiving a JSON string error. To isolate the problem, I turned off half of my extensions, then the other half, etc. etc., and replicated the problem until I isolated a single extension that created the problem - and sadly, it was Evernote Web Clipper 5.6. I'm on a 2009 15" MacBook Pro running OS X 10.8. Anyone else having the same problem? Any fixes?
