I updated my Evernote app yesterday - it's the 7.7.6 version dated 27 May. And now I've just gone to check my notes and they've all vanished! I don't know where to find them. I'm using an IPhone 5S. How can I get them back?! Can I reverse the update? Pls help as I had a lot of important information in the notes.
I ran the automated update to Evernote for iOS this past week - v7.3.0 - and since then, the app constantly freezes after launch on my iPhone 5s 64GB. The iOS on the device is up up to date and I easily have over ~40GB of free space as well. After launching the app and entering my passcode to unlock the app, I choose a notebook or a note and then the app hangs. I cannot get to my content and the only way out is to force-quite the app. Sometimes the relaunch works; most the of the time, it does not. I have often rebooted the phone with only modest success. I have also deleted and reinstalled the app, both through the Cloud and directly through iTunes. Have others experienced such bugs this week (February 3rd - 8th, 2014)? Thanks.
We are a small but fast growing concern. We need a "One Note solution" on Mac OS X ML/Mavs and iOS7. Because of operations in remote regions, we would prefer wireless sync between devices, not iCloud. USB sync will be preferred, though. Does Evernote allow for this and how much will it cost to equip 5 users, each with iPhone 5/5S and Macbook Pro with Mountain Lion or Mavericks? I am migrating from a Linux/Windows environment to Mac only. I sorely miss MS OneNote! iOS7 disappoints by not allowing Mac Notes to sync via iTunes - not via USB, not via Bluetooth and not via wifi. Also, between OSX ML and iOS7, it tells me that my iPhone 5 is an "unsupported device" when trying to pair via Bluetooth. Perhaps I should have stayed with Windows 8 and Companionlink and used a Lumia 1020 instead?? How does Evernote sync? The information here is a bit overwhelming to a newcomer.
I installed Evernote on an iPhone 5S a couple of weeks ago. It syncs with my Mac account ok, but EVERY notebook appears three times in the listing of notebooks. Two of the three (not in any apparent order) show zero notes, and the third entry has valid notes in it. See the attached image. The iPhone 5S uses iOS 7.0.3. Carrier is Verizon should that be relevant. Anyone seen anything like this, please? I've searched the forum but couldn't find any workaround. Oh...and if I delete a zero-note Notebook, it deletes ALL the Notebooks, including the one with actual notes.... There is no duplication of Notebooks on the Mac, on the PC, or on the iPad (under 5.1.1 -- Old iPad!) so this seems to be a strictly iPhone phenomenon. Thanks in advance for any assistance. Andy
