I'm rather new at this and am struggling with attaching photo taken in Evernote or in my iPhone cameral roll? For example I made a note of a recipe I'm developing. I took some photos in Evernote and want to attach them to note. Everthing I read says "click on the paperclip icon," however, I don't seem to have that. My icons include only the alarm clock, camera and microphone? I have an updated version of Evernote on an iPhone 5. Any help?
I have an Evernote Plus subscription. It's installed on my iPhone 5 iOS 8.4, my PC desktop, and my PC laptop. As much as I like using Evernote, it gives me a big problem: about once/month I tap the icon, the Evernote splash screen shows up- then it disappears, back to the iPhone home screen. Double tap the iPhone button, there it is, open- but, again, when I tap the "open" application, it appears for a second, then gone again, totally useless. The only way I have found to get it working again is to uninstall/install it, which just doesn't work when I'm counting on it for instant info in a meeting or in a store. I'm beginning to regret the money I paid for Plus- apparently it doesn't buy me direct support from Evernote staff either, I have to rely on the kindness of community members. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
iPhone 5, 64 GB. Available space 12 GB. iOS 8.1.2 I start the Evernote app and taps a note. The note opens, but it is empty. Nothing more happens. I cannot return to all my notes by taping the < sign. Finally, I receive an error message: Error The request timed out. [OK] When I tap the OK, nothing happens. The app is dead. I press the Home-key on my iPhone and return to Home-screen. When I tap the Evernote icon to start the once more, the app starts and I am back on the frozen screen I just left. From Home-screen on my iPhone, I have to close the app by double-clicking the Home-key and swipe the Evernote app upwards. Then I can give the app a fresh start. However, when I open a note, the note is still blank. Finally, I receive the same error message ("The request timed out.") Now I can tap OK and return to all my notes. When I try to start another note, the same thing happens. The note is empty and then I see the same error-message ("The request timed out.") Twice, I have deleted the entire app from my iPhone and reinstalled it. I have some information stored in Evernote that is important to me when I need it. My biggest concern now is that I no longer can trust the app. I really like the app so please help me restore my confidence in the Evernote app. Thanks! Carsten/Norway
We are a small but fast growing concern. We need a "One Note solution" on Mac OS X ML/Mavs and iOS7. Because of operations in remote regions, we would prefer wireless sync between devices, not iCloud. USB sync will be preferred, though. Does Evernote allow for this and how much will it cost to equip 5 users, each with iPhone 5/5S and Macbook Pro with Mountain Lion or Mavericks? I am migrating from a Linux/Windows environment to Mac only. I sorely miss MS OneNote! iOS7 disappoints by not allowing Mac Notes to sync via iTunes - not via USB, not via Bluetooth and not via wifi. Also, between OSX ML and iOS7, it tells me that my iPhone 5 is an "unsupported device" when trying to pair via Bluetooth. Perhaps I should have stayed with Windows 8 and Companionlink and used a Lumia 1020 instead?? How does Evernote sync? The information here is a bit overwhelming to a newcomer.
