  1. Hi All- When I type notes in Evernote using the Ipad and I start numbering my points and then hit space, Evernote automatically turns on the outlining feature. I physically turn it off, but on the next point when the number is typed and I hit the space key, it turns outlining on again. I do not want it to do the outlining. How do I turn off auto outlining?? Thanks. BBland Since typing this topic, Evernote responded with the fix - here is the way to turn off automatic formatting on the Ipad: You can turn off individually each auto formatting by going in Account tab > Settings > Notes > Advanced Settings : lists, checkbox, divider, code block and table
  2. Have ability to view side by side notes on iPad Pro. The current Evernote default view is for productivity, but for activities like Weekly Reviews of tasks and stuff, side by side view is essential. This will make Evernote even more powerful on the iPad.

    Native Apple Pen Support

Given that the new generation of ipads all will support the apple pencil it would be very useful to have the ability to directly write with the pencil into a note. The one feature that let's me bounce between MS One Note and Evernote is that One Note feels like a notebook on paper where I can easily mix typed text with handwritten text. If Evernote were to have something similar ( not like Penultimate which is separate ) it would have everything that is required from a modern note app.

    Textexpander support

Evernote is one of my favourite apps. But I do miss the support of Textexpander on my I-pad pro with smart keyboard. That would make my GTD workflow in combination with Fantastical 2 as my agenda and Omnifocus 2 as my project /to do planner (both support TE) and Evernote as my notebook / archive totally a blast. I also do use Snapentry or Drafts for implementing notes in Evernote with the support of TE, but often I just want directly work in Evernote.

  7. I have an iPad mini 3 version 11.3. Evernote continually crashes on my iPad. Not problem loading on iMac and iPhone, but just iPad. I have reinstalled, and every time it opens it either says to send report to which I can't press anything for it to load somewhere else, or it automatically goes to "devices" but then nothing else comes up and just stays there and I can't exit out of it. Either way it freezes and can't access much else. Help! Thank you in advance...
  8. How do you encrypt the content of a Note when you're using Evernote on iPad? Right click and control click are not available.
  9. I've kept daily to-do lists in Evernote for years. I'd love to have a pretty little (customizable) jingle and stars (or hearts) when I complete a task and check the box! Dopamine hits are part of what keeps users hooked on social media apps. They are also the "reward" part of creating good habits. If you could add this little fun feature to task completion . . . it would ROCK my world. It would make your app more FUN and therefore even more useful. Who's with me?

    Read-Only Option

Please make a option for only read the note. I don’t want to allow me to make changes when I accidentally click. Please add this feature (only read option) There was a lot of demand for it. This is a long-awaited request.
  12. Good day, this feature request is so users can create tags from an iPad/iPhone's Evernote "iOS web clipper". If on an iPad/iPhone only a user's existing tags can be applied. The "no tags selected" input field does not permit keyboard entry. iOS screen pdf attached. Also very small video link supplied. This is greatly needed so clippings may be tagged at the time of creation. Evernote's iOS extension is missing the ability to create new customized tags for "clipped" items. Selecting the "tag field" should allow me to type a new tag. Just when I select the "tag zone" it does not accept input, you'll get moved to your existing tag list. Some things in the existing list might be desirable, but what if a relevant tag needs to be created? I've created a video (no download needed) which can be viewed here: http://bit.ly/etagios0105 For example: I do not have the tag "Cheese" in my current Evernote tags list. When trying to input Cheese, selecting the tag field removes the keyboard and takes me to my current list. Once at this list, there is no way to create a new "Cheese" tag. For Reference... The Evernote iPhone/iOS Clipper feature discussed here: https://blog.evernote.com/blog/2015/01/25/clip-web-content-evernote-using-android-ios-devices/ video link: http://bit.ly/etagios0105 Evernote_iOS_ClipperTags.pdf
  13. One feature that Penultimate lacks, and I think is a pity as it's an excellent usability feature, is the ability to only draw with the Apple Pencil, but allow for single finger scrolling. At the moment you have two finger scrolling, but I find that I often end up with small artefacts during writing with false finger pickups (even the heel of my hand can cause issues). For this reason I actually use the Apple Notes application, and export those in to Evernote as images instead; it's a better experience there.
  14. First Problem About Font: I really hate the Evernote app. If there's one strong alterantif, I won't use Evernote again. Now, in the "Evernote Web" app, some 12 of my notes seem to have been prepared in 14 fonts. When I look through the Windows app, it all looks like it's written in 12. This program is really freaking out. All my buddies complain about similar problems. I don't want to do any more experiments. Please make an update hurry. Second Problem About Font: This is definitely a bug. It's a matter of update, believe me. I wrote in the table, tried it in the new note, or wrote it in the ongoing paragraph. The problem is that the "Evernote iphone" program appears to have a font size of 12 when the small font is set. In fact, the Evernote installed on the computer has a size of 10 fonts, but the phone says it's like it's written at 12. How did I know that? I tried in order. When I set up 12 font sizes in Windows Evernote then there's no problem. Because the little typecharacter from the phone adapts immediately to it. But if we make one step smaller, it doesn't matter 11 or 12. Then again it seems as if the iphone is writing at 12. Well, it doesn't actually say 12, but it's the way it looks. Like the photo I had before. I say it's a little complicated, but I can tell you there's no other way. * Windows Evernote If font 10 = IPhone Evernote (when writing small) looks like 12 but it actually writes with 10 (when l look at pc). * Windows Evernote If font 11 = IPhone Evernote (when writing small) looks like 12 but actually it is written with 11 (when l look at pc). * Windows Evernote If font 12 = IPhone Evernote (when writing small) looks like 12 and it really writes with 12. Third Problem About Font: I erased Evernote and seduced him on the phone and on my computer. The writings came in the size of 10 fonts and the character "Segoe UI". Everything is normal. However, I enter a note from the phone (you can see from the enclosed photos) and see how big it looks from other posts. At first, I thought you were writing a different size font. But when I go through the computer and look at it (the yellow mark) I see that it's a font that's 10 written on it that's not different from the others. But it looks like it's still bigger on the phone. This is seriously disturbing. I hope I can be descriptive. I'm sorry for my bad English, by the way. My native language is not English. Finally: This is literally rude and disrespectful. I'm a "premium" user. There are millions of "plus" and "premium" Users like me, which means "Evernote" makes millions of dollars a year, thanks to us. And what does he do for our problems? I have almost 100 emails about this "font size problem". They're stalling you with Mail traffic. Everyone is turning on each other. No results. Why can't I get a quality service from my premium purchase? The only thing Evernote needs is a rival. He acts like a spoiled little boy, Evernote. All they need is a strong opponent.
  15. Please create the ability to batch notes and move them into a notebook while using an iPad or iPhone. Similarly, create the ability to merge notes on this platform. If these were created, I would be able to travel with just an iPad Pro and no computer.

    merge notes on ipad pro

as i use my ipad pro more than i use my desktop and laptop i really miss the possibility of merging my notes on the ipad. any chance of making this happen ?!
  17. Using evernote on an iPad pro with a pencil, almost all my notes are handwritten at first. When in a meeting I'd rather grab my pencil and write a handwritten note than try to type on the ipad. Using the sketch feature, it has a limit to the screen size for the sketch. I have to result to adding multiple sketches in a single note just to keep writing my notes down the page. It would be much quicker if I can add a single sketch, and it would be an infini-page where I can keep scrolling down, add more, scroll down add more, scroll down. Instead of hitting the bottom and creating a brand new sketch each time.
  18. I use a large format iPad for much of my reading on the internet. The web clipper as it stands clips the entire page, not well, and makes it difficult, if not impossible, to get back to the webpages from the page in Evernote, as no bookmark/web address is accessible. The formatting is unacceptable/nonexistent. As a result, I have stopped clipping from my iPad. What we need is a clipper like we use on the desktop, which gives us the option of saving an article (with good formatting) or a bookmark, allowing us to return to the page. The bookmark is especially useful for reading lists, shopping pages, etc. If the mobile platform is the way of the future, then the features we have on the desktop need to be available on the mobile device.

    Notebooks Vanish/Disappear

I just started using Penultimate for Ipad. I quickly began to realize that after a very short period of time my notebooks would all vanish. I tried reinstalling and no luck. Any idea what is causing this?
  20. Today, I am beyond frustrated with Evernote. Up until I updated to 5.0, I had no issues printing to my HP Wireless (AirPrint capable) printer. Well now, it no longer works. But not just that it won't send anything to the printer, it does, and that's where the problem is. So regardless of whether I create a new note, or use an old note, instead of printing the note it will just send multiple pages with nothing on them to the printer. I've tried it on my iPad and my iPhone to the same issue. Nothing at all has changes, I can print to the printer fine with any other app, just not with Evernote. Please help, this feature is absolutely a must have for me. Thanks. Nick
  21. I'm running Evernote on iPad with iOS 11.1. When opening a note fullscreen in landscape mode there are broad margins to the left and right of the note content which reduce the usefulness of the fullscreen view. My use case is a songbook where I use a table with multiple columns (2-3) to allow me to see the whole song lyrics without having to scroll (good-bye Ultimate Guitar ;-)). Currently the unused margins to the left and right of the table easily take up 40% of horizontal screen real-estate so multi-column tables do not expand to the full screen width. Please remove these margins in an upcoming release for iPad (they're not present or much smaller on iPhone).
  22. Hello guys, I'd like to suggest that you remove the need for full read&write to photos on iOS11. A new option is now available that can give you "Write only" permission. Since this is a scanning app, the base use case is completely covered (take a camera shot then save it to the camera roll). I'd feel much better if this was the case in this era of zero privacy. I gave the same suggestion to Microsoft Office Lens, hope you guys are quicker. Thanks
  23. I use the free version of Evernote on my iPad. I have four months of audio recordings stored that I now realize are not synced. I do not want to lose these recordings. I tried using email but it does not work since it also gives me a sync error. What options do I have to get the content out of Evernote?

    iPad: Layers in sketch

Hi, I use the iPad pro and a pen in Evernote a lot. When using the sketch I often will sketch technical drawings as well as notes. It would be great if we could add some layers to the drawings. Does not need to be heaps. Just a few would be great! Cheers
  25. A promising feature on iPad is the new possibility to drag-n-drop items between applications. For example drag-n-drop should make easier something that is otherwise difficult : create an email and attach files which are stored in various evernote notes. I attempted to do this earlier : in Mail I opened a new mail full screen, and opened evernote on the side. From evernote I dragged a PDF file over to the Mail writing area. When I let go the pdf, I ended up with a thumbnail being inserted in the email, instead of the PDF I wanted to include: Needless to say, this is not what I was hoping would happen. It appears that evernote advertises the files it contains as images, and not files. I’ve tried to find other ways to drag the actual PDF from Evernote (e.g. from the print dialog or by opening the PDF first) but was not successful. This is disappointing as the feature promised to make possible something that is otherwise very cumbersome. Eventually I had to save all the items I wanted to include in Files, then drop them in Mail from Files. Another issue : I tried to drag-n-drop the other way — dropping inside Evernote — but Evernote does not seem to accept drops (either text or images).
