  1. Evernote keeps adding formatting after I make an entry. It turns account numbers into telephone numbers Example, In a note I input: 0619 193.67 0555 193.67 2081 193.64 Evernote changes this to: 0619 193.67 0555 193.67 2081 193.64 And not right away. It is as inputted, but the next time I go to the note... there it is. There must be a way to stop this right?
  2. When I try to enter text into a text note, the input is completely bizarre. The background will sometimes flash black, or the line I'm editing will flash black and text over and over again. I've looked around, but noone else seems to have this problem. This is on my Android tablet version 5.1. Sorry: Example steps: 1) Open text note 2) Move cursor right 3) Wait Expected: Just the flashing cursor Seen: Flashing text AND cursor, with text flashing all black and momentary text on white background
  3. Hey guys! I was using evernote the other day on my tablet and was using an input method in which the base of the screen was a white space that i could write on with my stylus and that converted the written words into proper text and punctuation up top on the page. I went back to do so again today and just can't figure out how it is i got to that particular tool. Every other method i come across is strictly the handwritten way that doesn't convert to text. Please help!
  4. So I am rushing around making notes toself....open my tablet and Evernote pops up with Quick Note....it wants me to type..boo hoo...wanna handwrite!!!! Please Please Please give us a choice or something! THanks!
  5. Okay, this may be a long-windy story, but I'll try to describe the timeline as clearly as possible. I got a new MacBook and decided to install Evernote. Now I already have an Evernote account for use on my iMac for roughly 5 years. After installing Evernote on my MacBook, I realized that two-step verification was not enabled as I previously thought. [Extraneous: So I tried logging onto Evernote via website through Google Chrome on my MacBook (macSierra), but could never get past clicking onto the Security Summary page because of my number of cookie/script-blocking browser extension. Regardless, I had other problems when I moved ahead. See following...] So I went over to my iMac and logged onto the Evernote website (same OS and web browser version), and now was able to go onto the Security Summary page. After a number of tries with inputting my phone number in for verification text (my phone was delayed and wasn't receiving Evernote verification texts right away... then multiple Evernote texts pop up kind of thing)... Then after getting through that fiasco, I had a problem with my Android phone "screen overlay" in trying to use Google Authenticator and capture the QR code with my phone camera. When Google Authenticator finally captured my QR code and initiated an Evernote account, I log out... and log back in... Evernote did not ask for two-step verification. So I go back to Security Summary... after I verified my email, I get an "internal error" when I type in my phone number for another text verification. .... I don't know what to do. Few years back, I also had problems trying to "turn off" two-step verification and had to contact Evernote Tech Support to get things right. SCRBBL
  6. Hi guys. I recently got a Wacom pen and touch because I found myself really limited with the keyboard for things like mathematical formulas or diagrams. I am aware that it's easy to edit images w/ skitch or an image editor. Also, I know the PC version has pen input. I am on the mac version. Does anyone have a good workflow for starting written notes in Evernote Mac? The only things I can think of are I can make a blank template graphic and continuously import that into new notes. I don't really want to do this, it seems tedious. Secondly, I know with a PRO account I can edit notes in PDF and that would be an option. Any other solutions?
  7. First, I'm waiting for the Android version, which would be great. I have a Samsung Note 2 and really, really like the handwriting recognition keyboard on the Samsung keyboard. I actually have returned my Livescribe since I can search in Evernote and use my stylus for natural note taking. I really like the Penultimate potential but would be GREAT if we could have a keyboard input option as well in the event we want to actually use text input. Is that possible? Anything in the works? Thanks.
