Dear Evernote team, I've noticed that pasting text to evernote transforms original indentation. This is the original text with indents This is the same text pasted to evernote It looks like Evernote transforms original indentation and reduces number spaces down to 2. I'm using Ubuntu 16.04LTS with Chromium (Version 55.0.2883.87 Built on Ubuntu , running on Ubuntu 16.04 (64-bit)). Please, have a look at this issue. Yours faithfully, Constantine Bonebryukh

I've noticed that since a few version updates installed, everytime I type '[number]. + space bar' EN automatically thinks it as list, and insert some indentation. I know that this feature is provided by many editors, such as MS Word. However the thing is EN (at least on Windows) was not like this, and I've been used to being nicely okay with it for so long. "1." was just "1.", not " 1." So I'd like to disable that feature and make a indented list only when I specifically want a indented list. How can I do that? Thanks

I write my notes on Evernote for Windows Desktop. I write long notes, and I structure the content using indentation. As a result, I am constantly reaching for the mouse in order to click the "indent" and "outdent" icons in the text editor toolbar. Are there keyboard shortcuts for these? I discovered that the tab key inserts four leading spaces but I did not find a way to subtract four spaces (I tried shift + tab, ctrl + tab, etc.). Using spaces for indentation is less attractive than the "hard" indent you get from the toolbar, but I'd definitely settle for it. My arm is getting tired of

Hi Evernote Team, I am using evernote on Mac with version 6.13.3. I have a request. I use ``` to put the code in it. For example, see below. while (s.empty() == false) { top = s.top(); s.pop(); mark top as visited; check for termination condition (have we reached the target node?) add all of top’s unvisited neighbors to the stack. } Now I want to add tabs to it to look better: while (s.empty() == false) { top = s.top(); s.pop(); mark top as visited; check for terminati

I know it is possible to indent using shift+command+] but is there an indent button? Seems like a pretty standard formatting button. While I'm asking.... can anyone tell me how to insert the symbols for shift, command etc.?

For months, I've been having trouble with rogue indentations when taking long detailed notes of lectures. Frequently, something will trigger a change in a note that causes a hard return to alter the indentation of the preceding and following lines and the new line. If I try to change the indent level of that line, it will affect adjacent lines, too. If I select all the text and "Simplify Formatting," then the problem goes away for a while, but I have to redo all my indents and other rich text formatting. The problem will come back if I paste in rich text, but it will also come back if I s

I've just switched from a PC to a Mac and find myself searching for the Increase/Decrease Indent buttons that I am accustomed to on my PC. I have found that there are keyboard shortcuts for this function; however, I firmly believe the buttons should be added to the tools at the top of each note, near the font, formatting, align left, etc. buttons that are already there, the way they are on the PC. I can find a button much easier than I can go "Format>Text>Increase Indent" and much easier than I can memorize yet another keyboard shortcut. Ironically, the buttons I am requesting are s

The indentation arrows for increase/decrease indent are not in the same order in the Windows Client and the webinterface. If you use both, this causes you to frequently select the wrong one. A very simple request: Could you change these to be consistent. My preference would be decrease indent on the left, increase indent on the right. This is the way they're set up on the Windows client. Cheers, Remco.
