I have my Evernote and Instapaper accounts linked. So whenever I highlight something in Instapaper the highlight gets automatically imported to Evernote. The one feature I've been missing with this, though, is absence of a URL link to the source were the highlighted text comes from. Is there some way to make sure that the highlight get's imported to Evernote together with the link to the original article?

After trying Evernote briefly in 2010 and abandoning it pretty quickly, I recently gave it another shot - and went Premium in under a month However, there is a major gap in my new reading-/workflow which I haven't been able to resolve: On my mobile, I read and highlight articles in an external app (Instapaper in my case), because reading in Evernote itself has several disadvantages (accidentally deleting text etc.). When will the bug that doesn't allow text that I highlight or text that I underline to print that way be addressed? This has been going on for a number of versions now and I would think that this would be a simple fix? Is it being looked into?

I would like a view that shows only text that I have highlighted. This 'highlighted text view' should allow me to copy only the highlighted text. I would use this view for an even more concise version of a note. I did search the forum and did not find this suggestion.

When I search for a text inside the image note using search icon on the right-top - it doesn't find anything --> it doesn't work. I've consulted this with the support team and this is not a bug - this functionality is missing in the iOS app. It works perfectly on the Web app or the Desktop app - but not in iOS. If I use global search from the main screen and if I have a note with dozens of images, it's almost impossible to find the correct image with the highlighted text without having possibility to do "find next/previous". For the Evernote rep, here is the support ticket#

Highlights is a Mac utility for extracting PDF annotations and converting them to portable formats (Markdown, HTML) or archiving them in Evernote. When you open a PDF in Highlights the highlighted text, comments and image selections are extracted. If it is a journal article, the app fetches metadata for it automatically and embeds it in the PDF. You can then open the neatly formatted highlights in Evernote directly as regular notes (ENML-files). This way, you can have a PDF library on disk and an easily searchable summarized archive in Evernote. Highlights can also be used for working with
