  1. Is it possible to make groups of users in Evernote Business? I know it's possible to share information with individuals or with the entire business, but I would like to share information with groups of co-workers. Group certain users together and share information with that group, instead of having to type each individual's name/email over and over again to share each individual note or notebook. For instance group people into departments within the company or into people within a certain project. Also, if someone switches from department or joins a projects it would be way easier to just add or remove someone from that group instead of having to go through each individual note/notebook etc etc. Is it possible to group users? And if so, how?
  2. Dear community, I remember seeing an Evernote Screenshot in which the the list of all the notes could be split in "professional" and personal notes. Are there other ways to group notes visually besides creating notebooks or stacks of notebooks? Thanks a lot
  3. I know that Evernote syncs and refreshes regularly, which I can see when I have the app open. But is there a way to receive notifications when a shared note is edited by another user? Desktop, email, anything that would prompt a user to go check the app? In Google docs, you can receive notifications when something is changed, and I can't figure out similar functionality in Evernote.
  4. Maybe this already exists in Evernote ..or maybe not; if not I'd like it to be a feature request. So the idea is that when I am working with things in Evernote there are certain types of information that I enter that get the same tags. For instance, manuals for products I am doing development with get organized in my Evernote account. Sometimes that kind of product gets repeated by the same manufacturer and so I'd like most of the tags to be the same except for 1 or 2. Well it would be nice if I could add the bulk of those tags to a group which I could then apply to my note and it would just drop most of those tags in without my having to type all of them in every time. We can think of it as a custom template or even a tag for the tags. Cheers
  5. I hate to open a old topic but it really is needed. I would really like to add sub-stacks (2 level hierarchy of stacks) Even if its not a Stack at the high level it’s a Group that I can put a stack or a few stacks under. Right now it’s a long list of Stacks, when I could get it down to a small list of 7 or 8 Each of the stack. Example Top Level MyBizs -> Accounting (stack) -> Taxes(Stack) ->Notes MyBizs -> Accounting (stack) -> Payroll(Stack) ->Notes MyBizs -> technology (stack) -> WebsiteInfo(Stack) ->Notes MyBizs -> technology (stack) -> Networking (Stack) ->Notes MyBizs -> Sales (Stack) ->Products (Stack-> notes MyBizs -> Sales (Stack) ->Services(Stack) -> notes Personal -> Home (Stack) -> projects(stack) -> notes Personal -> Money(stack) -> Budget (Stack) -> notes School -> KidsSchool (Stack) -> Davy (Stack) -> notes School -> KidsSchool (Stack) -> Jenny (Stack) -> notes Toys-> CAR (Stack) -> jeep (Stack) -> notes Toys-> CAR (Stack) -> Ion (Stack) -> notes Toys-> Bike(Stack) -> JimsDirtbike (Stack) -> notes
  6. Hello, I'm planning to use Evernote with a group of 30 people in my company. Some of them are Premium and some are not. The objective is to create a free space to share information (small notes and docs). It will be use only the Android app. I did a small pilot with 5 users and worked well, but I'm still afraid of launching officially a "program to share information" and turns out to be a bad experience. I'm reading here that Evernote is not the apropriated tool for big groups, that has a lot of problems with sharing stuff, but I really need an unexpensive option and EN seems to be good at it. I've already read a lot of posts here and I know a bunch of limitations that it's ok for me. Someone here already tested and use EN to share notes and small docs with a big group of people? it worked? Thanks.
  7. I just tried to set up Evernote for my family of four and was told that sponsored groups have been replaced by Evernote Business. I don't know about anyone else, but my family does not need $40/month worth of business accounts. •Premium plan is for individuals •Business plan is for businesses •NO PLAN for groups/families? Why did you let an advancement (like EnB), turn into a regression? I don't need to administer four separate accounts... for my 2 children, my wife and myself. Nor do I want any of us to have to deal with the restrictions of the free plan. My children are homeschooled and will need offline notes. Their iPod Touches and iPads aren't always connected to wifi, I cant rely on a persistent connection for them to complete school work I should have been able to assign through an Evernote group account. Even if I did set up four separate premium accounts with four separate billing plans, I still can't receive the discount that was available for groups of 3 or more. So now I have to pay $20/month for four people, or $180/year. There is no way my kids are going to use $90 to $120 worth of note organizing every year. I wish I had opened a sponsored group account in November of 2012, when I first learned about them (before the creation of their carnivorous EnB plans). Bring back sponsored groups, Evernote! Please!!!
